"Not your house, the gate. G-a-t-e," Malla said to the Akalak standing infront of her. She was starting to get rather frustrated. She didn't take a map with her this morning and now she was lost, and her 'genius' plan of asking an Akalak turned out to be useless. It had to have been ten chimess already she had tried to get directions out of him. Ten chimes wasted, apparently.
"Why would a pretty Konti like yourself want to leave? There's a nice bed at my place," the tall man grinned down at her, causing her to ball her fist. She wanted to smack him. She
should smack him, but he was too tall for her to actually do anything besides hit his chest. Maybe she should start to carry a very big stick to hit them with....but that could end up with her getting kicked out of the city. Well...she could at least
look threatening with a stick, right? She might look more so with a sword, but she had no intent to carry one of those around again anytime soon.
"Oh forget it. I'll find it on my own," she huffed then turned on her heel to leave, glad to hear that the stubborn man just walked away chuckling to himself. She walked down an alleyway, using some very colorful curses in Pavi as no one was around, her hands moving about angrily. She just couldn't understand why all these Akalak were so...so...frustrating. At least most of the time. Maybe she chose the wrong city, but, then again, she liked a challenge. And not hitting any of the natives of this city was definitely a challenge for the Konti. She really wondered why, if they'd never really seen women before, none of them left Riverfall for places with women.
Her thoughts and cursing come up short as she heard a voice around the corner, causing her to pause and listen.
"We need to find a place where it would be normal for him to wake up. Some where where he would think that this was all a dream." The voice sounded familiar to her...but she wasn't quite sure if it was Duce or not. She also couldn't help but wonder what exactly he did.
"Jorin! You're an actor! Have you ever acted drunk?" At the mention of Jorin's name, she frowned even more, and peeked around the corner, blinking at the sight. The two men carrying someone who looked knocked out and, going by the Akalak's words, he was. Her brows furrowed as she saw who she was more or less certain was Duce put a bucket on the passed out man's head and laugh for a short bit. She shook her head to herself then stepped around the corner and took a few quick strides over to the two.
"Should I even ask why you two are holding a passed out person...and putting buckets on his head?," she asked, raising a brow. She didn't exactly care if it was a good reason or not, but was curious...and not to mention still frustrated and, well, she had little qualms about potentially being able to take that out on a passed out Akalak. Only because all Akalak were much taller than her, so harder to deal with when awake.
OOCHope y'all don't mind my jumping in here. If you do, sorry!
