This girl was quite the looker and didn't seem overly offended by his attempt at charming her. Her inquiry gave him immediate reason to grin, the expression warm and amicable. Yes, it would be easier for him to fly, but the thought of leaving so soon was not appealing to the Kelvic. With downward turn of his lips and a casual shrug he quirked another smile her way.
"Might be, but then I'd be lamentin' your absence," he replied smoothly. The sun was beating down upon him but he could care less, Kallian's radiant face taking up a great deal of his attention. He was ready to respond with another coy statement when he was promptly halted by a shrill whistle. Gods, had he read her wrong? what was she doing? Hopefully not summoning an army of brothers to tear the ever-loving flesh from his body for flirting with their sister.
But the sound of a single set of hooves alleviated his concern, expression adopting a relieved countenance for his preserved life. The horse was a sight to behold, just like its rider. But unlike women horses did not tend to rub Fenris the right way. The Drykas introduced the horse like it might shake the Kelvic's hand and he let a breathy heh before looking at the mare. Wiping his hands on the thin material of his trousers he then clasped them together.
"Ah, yes." He nodded to the creature, a sign of what he hoped was received as respect. "Good day to you, Allyria. I thank you for not kickin' me in the face for having words with your lovely Kallian, here."
Fenris had the tendency of speaking to animals as if they might answer him. Perhaps it was a Kelvic tick. Or perhaps he was slightly mad from sorting through corpses every day. Regardless he smiled at the horse, though he maintained a comfortable distance from its mouth. Returning his attention to the Drykas the man beamed once more.
"To the skies it is," he announced. "I doubt your mare would be fond of a bloke like me on her back when she's used to a lithe creature like y'self." Ever a flirt. "But I have to warn you, I'll be losin' my pants as well before the shift, so y'might grab 'em if you're so inclined."
He cast her a gentle wink before turning around and walking a few paces away, whilst untying the laces that kept the beige trousers on his hips. Without so much as a by your leave, Fenris dropped the pants, the copper skin of his legs and buttocks completely in view of Kallian. This fact bothered the Kelvic none, casting a glance over his shoulder at her.
"I'll stay low on the wind, cha?"
With that, the shift began. It was an odd thing for one unfamiliar with the process. Swirling beams of light, fizzing pops of electricity - it was like his own personal storm cloud. Within seconds the effervescent haze dissipated like mist, leaving a large vulture in its place, standing on the crumpled pants. He turned to look at the girl, raising large wings and bobbing his white head.
