The largest library in all of Mizahar, it was founded after the Valterrian as an effort to restore civilization to its former glory. What once started out as a small building with half-empty shelves of tattered books - all written in common - is now a massive landmark filled with thousands of books in every shape, size, and language. For the avid reader or determined scholar, the Syliras Grand Library is a mecca, and for everyone else, it's the only place to go for the best in written word, be it fiction, non-fiction, history, etc. Because it's the largest library in all of Mizahar, it's not easy running the place. It has a fairly large faculty, including the High Curator and its assistants, the curators and their assistants below that, the librarians below that, and the guards that run security to prevent theft or vandalism.

Also, Zeltiva already has the biggest library in Mizahar, probably followed closely by Sahova and maybe The Spires. This location doesn't really fit for the city of Syliras.
