I think I'm gonna start a thread for everyone to post their costume designs (be they in written form or picture form) just so we have them all in one place. Be sure to add them into your description at the Masquerade as well, but I just want to keep a place for all the records to be kept so we don't have to search around everywhere for them later!

Also, on a completely unrelated note, if you guys ever need a guest moderator, I'm free! I can run any NPCs you need!

As much as I'd love to join I'm fairly certain I don't trust my activity on Oscar to keep up with the thread. Since I'd rather not be 'that guy' I'll probably sit this one out. That and healers tend to have a bland fashion sense.

I'll definitely be following it the whole way through though.

Also, Poison... should I continue posting on the Trader's thread to get that business wrapped up or should we just leave it dead? Thank you for being so patient with me, even with my miserable activity! You rock Spider King.

Oscar, even if you can only post every once in a while, consider joining the masquerade.

As for the traders thread, that's up to you.

'lo Kalinor Spiders, Two things. First questions addressed to Poison or Ensare, is the vision on the 21st something we will be told about eventually?? If not, what did was the vision of? Also, one extra question. Sosicly will be making her dress through a series of threads...would it still be acceptable to have her already wearing it in the masquerade? Second, addressed to everyone. There is two threads open which you might enjoy. Terrible Works of Art is a thread about the growing agitation with the lack of scape goat for the vandalism. And Celebrate, Come On! is a thread in which Sosicly celebrates her birthday and gets blind drunk. She is paying for everyones drinks and expect shenanigans. Feel free to join both, one or none (although this isn't a real option )!

And yes, it would be acceptable for her to wear the dress at the masquerade - as long as you have at least started the first of those dress-making threads.

Gah! You are right, Poison. If anything, joining more threads will motivate me to be more active with Oscar and hopefully contribute more to Kalinor. Very well, I'll join there and I think I'll also jump in on at least one of Sosicly's threads for good measure.

Awesome! What "counts" as acheiving one of the goals? Say, do I actually have to buy my costume in a post? Or can I simply reference that I had previously? Must I be present when my house is vandalized or do I just have to see the results?

You have to buy it in a post or a thread, and that post or thread has to take place in the current season.

As for the other goal, it's enough if you witness the results.

I should probably also explain the goal of eating a Symenestra dish: you can eat a bruka, but drinking a cup of blood or eating soft fruit is also fine.

Those are all part of the Symenestra cuisine.

I hope that my goals aren't too complicated. It's the first time I'm doing something like that.

By the way, I've stickied the masquerade thread and added a OOC note at the end of my post.

I'll wait some time before I post there again as several PCs are in the process of buying or making costumes.
