Though she had been beaten, the woman did not curse. She did not harbor any visible anger. In fact, she smiled and thanked the savage instead. Another oddity Kaie found from this human in particular she hadn't expected. Then she stuck her hand out to her, causing the Myrian woman to quirk a brow in response. Barbarian customs including the handshake were somewhere odd to her. Sure it happened in the jungle, but for whatever reason outside of it was totally different. The mannerisms and everything were switched. Still she understood and complied. Reaching a bronzed hand forth, she clasped the woman's hand and shook it promptly with a firm grasp.
"I am Kaie of the Cutthroat Shadows. From Taloba, Falyndar. Myrian. Got stuck in Syliras, but came with caravan to head home. Got stuck. I stay here," Kaie answered, dropping her hands to her sides with a furrowed brow, trying to speak clearly and make sense. She gestured to the forest at the end to imply she slept out here preferably. Though her sentences were choppy, she felt she got her point across.
"Vyk-tor-uh, live here in Zeltiva?" She inquired, struggling with the barbarian name that didn't sound anything like the sort names of her homeland.
