Jantys avoided Sei's punch and rubbed his chest. Jantys was out of range until he jabbed at Sei's chest. Jantys punched him in the gut but he didn't budge. Instead, before Jantys could remove his arm, he grabbed it so Jantys couldn't move, and headbutted him. He the took Jantys's arm, pulled him forward and steadied his fist to Jantys's stomach. He turned toward, Jantys arm with a roundhouse kick to his side. He let go of Jantys and stepped back. "Feeling better?"

Jantys threw back his head, his teeth gritted, as his opponent's own face smashed into him. The Kelvic had managed to take his gut strike and had grabbed his arm, which was certainly a bad situation; he made a mental note not to strike that area again unless he had a backup plan. Unable to really mount an effective offense or defense under the condition, he gets a solid thump in the stomach, too. Gasping, he crouches, minimizing his body mass a bit to deal with the pain as he struggles to regain concentration from the bruising blows. As he crouches, he realizes a leg is being flung his way. His arm still out a bit from the Kelvic's grab, he simply raises it and his other arm, blocking the kick with his forearms. In this position, he could clearly see his opponent was unsteady; with only one leg and his body thrown in a certain position due to the kick, it would be difficult for him to maneuver away. Face tightening in a vengeful grin, he stands, one arm pulling away from the block. Unfolding his limps like a spring, he hammers one fist directly into the other man's face, using the springy momentum for a move he liked to consider his signature; a wildly-flung haymaker. Due to the other man's unsteady position, Jantys was sure it would land, so he did not hesitate to place all the savage power he possible could into the punch, hoping to knock the other man out if at all possible.

Sei wasn't fast enough, and before he could move back, Jantys rocked his stomach. He took a few steps back, as blood rolled down his chin. He held his stomach with one arm and wiped the blood with the over. Shyke. He's to strong. He thought. He held out his hand for Jantys to take. "I know were you stand now." He said. "You win." He said.

Sei snorted and took back his hand. "Be ready when I call for you again gramps." He said smugly.

Jantys straightened after the punishing blow, arms out in front to block the next blow... but it would appear the Kelvic had conceded. He blows a slight sigh of relief, glad it was over. Hey, and I even won. Not bad, Janny, not for an old coot like you. He looks at the hand in distrust, but before he can decide whether to take it or not, it's gone. Jantys rolls his shoulders a little, straightening his back to his full height, massaging his knuckles a little. "Yeah, yeah. If yea e'er want t' get yer ass beat again by this 'ol' man', jus' ask." He grimaces, rubbing his stomach. "Yea fought well, an' ah need th' prac'tce." He backs up about three steps, just in case, then turns, leaving the Fighter Pit. It would be awhile before he returned; he had had enough of fisticuffs for the next two weeks at least

I'm going to say this as a general statement, the only time it is okay to assume the direct success of an action against another players character is when both parties have, in full knowledge of the consequences, consented to such actions prior to them taking place in the course of the thread. To do otherwise is called god modding and that is not tolerated on Mizahar.

Keep that in mind.
