Another wasted night searching for the perfect victim. Alva needed to find a real job. Her current lifestyle barely kept her fed and clothed. By Akajia and Ovek, one day she would conduct the biggest scheme and get the petch out of this place. One day...
Alva had been wandering the city of ruins, looking for travelers and the like who were clueless about the way Sunberth functioned. Unfortunately most travelers looked as if they could crush Alva, or just weren't worth scamming at all. The air was getting colder and there would be less travelers if any in the upcoming season. Slipping through the shadows and the abandoned alleyways, Alva began her nightly walk home just as the sun began to rise above the dull horizon. She was almost home before she noticed a set of footsteps echoing her own. She was not in the mood for this. Not tonight.
"Alright, what the hell are you--" Before she could finish her question, she was pinned to nearby building by a rather large figure who reeked of alcohol and body odor.
You have got to be kidding me....Again?
