"So we done here?"
Beads of sweat now starting to run profusely down his body now starting to tire from all this running around. Feeling his breathes go ragged Bolivar took a bit of more time finding the appropriate words to ask.
"Alright, whose idea was this?"
The only man that went unmolested from the scuffle looked back at the squire then back at his companions before telling the squire all that he knew.
"It was that one wanker that was spreading that nonsense. Didn't get a look at his face but heard his offer we did. Sahovans are in the city, finding some strong able bodies would probably a good venture."
Looking back at his companions hesitantly the man looked at Bolivar for help. To which Bolivar merely shrugged. Moments ago the man was going to offer random passerbys to trade off to the Sahovans in town. A terrible idea that actually gone underway. Even if they had succeeded no doubt the knights would have sent a search parties for those missing. Once again a terrible idea.
"You new or something? Even if you were to make off with the prize you wouldn't last long enough to enjoy it now would you?"
Done with his speech Bolivar corralled the remaining members of the ambush party in a line as he led wondering what to do with them. Looking at the northerner more then happy with his contribution so far offered him a bone.
"You sure you want to keep going to see if there is anything up that road? The whole thing looks like a farce if anything. You can probably get more coming back with me."
Of course Conners might decline but given the way the first batch of hooligans attack Bolivar did not fault him for that. Even going as far as to heed his commands, Bolivar felt it prudent to offer him something in return.
"I imagine you'd be rewarded for assisting a squire through two ambushes. At the very least a free meal from me. How about it?"
They would have to investigate further but for now it seemed like he had taken care of the first batch of scum that the mystery man commissioned.
oocGuess we can end here?
