A rather suggestive moan escaped Anna's throat, her eyes fogging up in bliss as she held her gaze towards the ceiling. She was laid out on her mat, squirming slight in her underclothes as she worked on relieving some rather long pent up stress. Sahova was useful for a lot of things, unfortunately pleasure was not one unless one held some rank higher than Apprentice. So it rather fell to her to find some kind of release, regardless if it was her own hand that dealt it.
Her right hand had strayed rather far down and was dutifully carrying out its ministrations, while her left was splayed lazily next to her head. Her long fingers slipped inside again and again in a slow rhythm, a slight gasp escaping her throat. She really petching needed this, it would have been better with someone else doing it but Anna was hardly in a position to be picky. She also had zero shame regarding this current situation, she dared someone to last as long as she had without satisfying certain urges.
After a few chimes she tensed up around her fingers, a blissful numbing climax sending waves of pleasure through her mind. Her breathing was a little heavy than it had been before and she lifted her fingers up to appraise them. She giggled at the sight of her Apprentice ring covered in the sticky liquid, no doubt Amaryllis would be less than amused if she found out. Still Anna diligently wiped the ring off on her old tattered cloak along with the rest of her hand, the fog of pleasure already clearing from her mind.
Now that her little... session was over with it was rather time to get down to business. She did have some metal balls to Glyph today, and a rather safe environment to accomplish that in. Once she became a Wizard she'd have plenty of time to please herself, or get other's to do it for her. Sahova was making her already hedonistic ways a little more extreme, more due to deprivation and insanity than anything else.
Anna finished wiping her hand clean and crawled off of her mat, reaching for the brass balls and the tiny little engraving tool provided to her. She'd opted to try her hand at engraving the Glyphs onto the brass, better than wasting inscribing paint or ink. She admired the lightness of the metal, whatever else Osd was he certainly knew his craft. Perhaps if this went off without a hitch she might consider only seriously maiming or scarring him rather than killing him. The depths of her own mercy astounded her truly to no end.
The tall woman looked over the brass ball carefully, making certain their would be no flaws that could disrupt the overall structure of the Glyphs themselves. Finding none the Sorceress started tapping away lightly with the little engraving tool, attempting to place her first Focus upon the ball. Attempting was the word for it and as she continued with her work, her grey eyes narrowing on the offending object in annoyance she realized it was much harder than it first appeared. It took longer than it normally did when she drew out her Glyphs, this etching process foreign to her.
She grimaced when she looked at the completed Focus, it looked bloody atrocious. The woman tossed the ball aside, not even bothering further with that one as it was clearly beyond salvaging. At least she had four more tries to get it just right, though drawing the Glyphs on them was certainly looking rather appealing at this stage.
The tall woman took up another ball and set to work etching the Focus Glyph into the metal. This time was not so bad actually, as she had a handle on how to properly hold the little engraving tool properly. The Focus was finished and the stylized inverted triangle actually looked rather nice and functional. However it was when she started on the Barrier that trouble reared it ugly head once more, foiling her hard work.
She accidently caused once of the geometric symbols in the ring around the Focus to bleed into one next to it, compromising the whole layout. Anna cursed loudly and tossed the ball aside, resisting the urge to smash it into a flattened piece of steel via liberal use of earth reimancy. Two mess ups and she hadn't even completed one good sigil on the petching things. So far Anna was not liking the running theme here, however there was no other choice for this. These balls were the centerpiece of the whole display, the scrolls she would make were going to be good but these were just a little bit different and would give her that odd edge.
The Sorceress sighed and took up another brass ball, third time was supposedly the charm after all, perhaps she'd actually complete this one to an acceptable degree. She started etching the Focus into the surface of the ball, her grey eyes narrow and appraising of the possible flaws that could exist and her fingers cautious in the pressure they applied to her tool. The stylized inverted triangle came into existence easily enough, but the real test would be the Barrier and the Paths that would connect it to the Trigger.
Slowly Anna started the ring of Glyphs that would surround her Focus, her strokes careful and deliberate. The Barrier was made with the ideas like 'containment' and 'hold within' being prominent among them. It was the normal process for a scroll sigil like the one she was creating, to make certain the magic was contained for as long as it needed to be. Only when the Trigger was activated would the whole affair be set off.
The Sorceress finished the Barrier and then started on the Barrier on the opposite side of the Focus, the one that would contain her Trigger. This was going to be a multiphase scroll, once the Trigger was activated it would signal the switch Glyphs around it to drop the Barrier around it and signal the same to occur along the Paths that would connect the two. The Focus would then release its magic, which would be set to deal massive damage over an area of effect. It was a brilliant little device.
Finishing with the second Barrier Anna connected the two Barriers via four Paths and included the necessary Switch Glyphs to separate the magical effects. Once this was done it was time for the actual Trigger, which she had already experimented with once. This time she had a much more refined Trigger in mind, this one a little more refined and carried action of intent as well as the end result necessary. Slowly she etched out the Trigger, which was:
Anna nodded to herself, pleased by the Trigger specifications. It would need to be thrown to actually activate the Trigger, merely dropping it would accomplish nothing. This means that a person would actually need to mean to use it for it to go off. The designation of where it should impact was an end goal, meaning that simply throwing it wouldn't be enough. It would need to make contact with either the ground or a wall after being thrown. It was a two phase thing, one that filtered out most possibilities for failure.
Satisfied, Anna placed the ball off to the side and picked up another to start on it. Once she finished all of them she'd have time to properly figure out what spells to add to the little sigils. That was the fun part of this whole thing.

When this object is thrown by the wielder and then impacts upon one of the following under-designated areas the Trigger will activate the Switches, which will travel up the Paths to signal the same thing to occur on the opposite end.
-The Ground or Floor
-A Wall
