The first week of Winter in Falyndar is opened with great revelry and joy as Myri's Birthday is celebrated city wide. It is a rare thing to see Myrians shirk their normal work patterns, an industrious and vicious race as they are, especially for a whole blasted week, so let's just say when this time of year comes around...Myrians really let loose.
Now this isn't a time only for drinking passing out and waking up only to do it all over again, this celebration of Myri is also meant to test and display the raw skills of her devoted followers and subjects, to prove your clan is just as strong or stronger than others, while also bringing the Myrian populace together united as a whole in the light of their nearly complete control over the lands of Falyndar.
The events happening this season are as follows, when you sign up pick one event that you want participate in, based upon interest that is what moderated threads will take place over the course of this week, though other events and their results will be listed for general PC knowledge:
Other events taking place during the week are tiger jousts, large fire dancing performances, Riamm races, and a Dhani spit, fun for all within.

- The Labyrinth:
One might not even be able to recognize the military complex which has now transformed into a wooden maze, only visible in its entirety by the scouts who perch at intervals up on high viewing platforms. This maze is not meant as a test of brawn or agility so much, but of tactics and mind. Here the entrant will travel through the maze. At intervals they will find veteran soldiers of Taloba's vicious army and engage in battles of wits with these tactical geniuses, if they lose the battle of wits, a battle of blades commences, and they can only pass if they defeat the veteran in one game or another. (Takes place the entire week) - The Great Hunt:
A massive party of hunters is sent into the wilderness, each year the goal is something different, and this year after the rumors of some fell beast int the wilds, the hunters search after an unknown adversary who is said to have holed up upon a small mountain chain a week's journey from the city. (This event begins upon day one of the festivities, but will not return until long after they are complete) - The Ball Court Tourney:
Since the act of gladiatorial combat was long since banished from Taloba, the next best thing is the brutal game of ball that Myrians engage in upon their courts, this game is competitive, violent, and open to any clan or team that has formed a team. Come to watch the carnage on the field or take part in it, snacks will be served. (Takes place in the middle of the week)
