Coming back into the land of consciousness, Anna felt rather good all things considered. She was so comfortable in this plush mattress, gods it felt divine to simply just be able to lay here and though the last night was but a fog she felt rather pleased in all the right ways. She didn't want to awaken, the tall woman just wanted to lay here in this bed and drift back into slumber that was to rightly deserved. However there was something nagging in the back of her mind, a feeling that this just wasn't right, that there was something wrong about this situation.

"Wait, I haven't slept in a bed since leaving Zeltiva..." She thought to herself, which prompted her eyes to flutter open.

The flicker of candlelight cast shifting shadows through the black drapes that surrounded her, a white circle dominating the center of each on. The ceiling looked to be made of fine masonry, much newer than anything she remembered in the Citadel. The sheets she found herself wrapped in were rich and thick about her, certainly a level of comfort all but unheard of on the island of the undead. Something was certainly very wrong, very, very wrong.

Her gaze shifted to the left, tired grey eyes appraising a lump next to her that possessed a general human outline. Her partner from last night perhaps? Whom else would be sharing a bed with Annalisa Marin, the pet monster of Chief Embalmer Amaryllis? The woman lightly poked at the lump, finding that part of it shifted away from the touch and altered the entire form in a way that felt too yielding.

The Sorceress immediately swung aside the covers, wishing to the gods that she had not. Waiting for her eyes under the deep red sheets was a clutch of writhing grubs, sickly pale things that swarmed over that particular section of the bed and seemed to be crawling towards her. The tall dark haired woman wasted no time scrambling over herself and tearing her way through the drapes that surrounded her, putting ground between she and the disgusting creatures.

"Petching petch petch, what the shyke!?" She exclaimed, her foul mouth leaking through.

There were two things that she noted immediately, one that she was utterly and completely naked and the other was that some of the little things had managed to crawl onto her body. Her skin crawled as the pale things moved across her arms and legs, fear moving its way up her spine chillingly. She started brushing the things from her flesh, stepping away from where they landed, feeling the occasional wet squish as her feet crushed one of the worms. Still, she managed to rid herself of the buggers.

A long shuddering sigh came from her lips, her heart beating rather faster than she would have liked to admit. Grey eyes darted quickly around the candlelit room, one thing becoming abundantly clear: she was no where in Sahova. The floor itself felt smooth and looked far too new to be Sahovan and the walls were similar, a nearby vanity and desk looked far to well made. There was no petching way she was in Sahova, the question remained then where she was and how she had gotten there. Her memory was a haze when she tried to search it, she remembered Sahova and the events there but nothing too concrete.

Anna steadied her breathing, moving a hand to gingerly touch the scar over her heart to calm herself with the presence of Rhysol's divine essence upon her body. She was stronger than this, she simply needed to think clearly and search for answers. Probably best to do that fully clothed though, she thought to herself.

Another quick look around yielded a rather expensive looking black silk nightgown, the symbol of a white circle upon it as well. The meaning of the symbol escaped her but something about it felt right to her. The tall woman grabbed it and placed it around her shoulders, tying it off at her waist tightly. It was hardly a full suit of armor and a quick look through the wardrobe nearby yielded nothing, not even a pair of slippers.

The tall woman looked towards the door, a fine oaken thing that felt smooth to the touch and had a handle of wrought iron. Anna gently pushed on it, opening it rather easily and entered a long dimly lit hallway. Her eyebrows arched slightly, if there had been any doubts about this not being Sahova they were now discarded. Last she checked, Sahova didn't have ornamental suits of armor standing against walls or have carpeted hallways.

Directly across from the room Anna had just woken up in was another door, and the hallway seemed to stretch for quite a ways in any direction. Perhaps someone here would have some answers, and if they weren't willing to divulge them then she'd force words from their mouth. She was not one to be trifled with, as whatever fool was behind this would soon discover.
