Annie's strawberry hair spilled out on her rough pillow cover as she moved around, Trying to wake up but her body refused to let her do so. Groaning she arched her back and then sat up. " Petch, I never thought it would be this hard to get up in the morning. " Annie stayed up all last night eyeing the cold cobblestone streets for any centipedes and found none. Annie didn't want to have to deal with the disgusting crushing sound of the centipede's body and found herself hoping not to find any insects. Instead of insects she would have to move on down to Sunberth's ports in order to get a few clams.

Struggling she changed out of her dirty clothes and wiggled into her trousers and spilled her backpack out on her bed. Shifting the poisons and empty bottle around she picked out one and shoved it in her pocket. Sitting down on her bed she laced her boots and fashioned her Blade spring tightly around her wrist.

Lazily she threw on her coat and threw her hood up. Strands of her strawberry hair fell out of the sides as Annie opened the wooden door and gave a animal-like hiss at the cold breeze that was hurtful on her pale skin. Closing the door behind her with a slam. Settling the backpack on she started for the largest area anyway. There were some hidden faces in the shadowed alleys and others were just in plain sight.

One man she always saw hanging around the brothels approached her and flashed a couple coins. Lifting up her hand she rolled her eyes and pushed by, " Oh please. " Annie could feel his eyes still on her and got a very uneasy feeling. He has done this before and she always threaten him with her poisons. Glancing back she figured he still wasn't watch her but as she rotated her shoulders the disgusting taste of bile filled her mouth as her stomach grew uneasy.

Clams! Woo!

Daedalus was drawn from his thoughts when he heard someone speak his name and she smiled to the young woman standing in his offices doorway, asking for his assistance. "What do you need Gwendoline?" He said in an even placid tone while sitting behind a desk, his eyes locked onto his sister. "Have you even been home in the last two days?" She questioned her brother as she watched his writing in his journal with a quill. "I can handle business for the day, you should take a break." Daedalus had just opened Dagwood Metal at the start of winter. Ever since its grand opening he had put his heart and soul into running the business. It was made evident to his sibling that he slept in the office since she had just arrived to open shop for the morning, only to find that the workshop was already open for business.

"I have a lot of things to do. I need to take inventory, fill orders, and..." His sister stopped him abruptly. "And live your life. Even mom and dad took breaks from their projects." Her words managed to stump Dae and with a sign he set his quill down and closed his journal. "Fine." He slowly stood up from his desk to slide on his wool coat that laid on the back rest of his chair and slip on his backpack. WIth his rapier sword on his left hip and scarf around his neck, he walked out of his business. On his way out he saw his little brother Darik Dagwood. He nodded towards his brother as a hello and good bye. "I'll be back in a few hours so keep an out out for trouble."

The winter cold was a harsh contrast to the interior of Dagwood metal where the massive blast furnace in the elaborate foundry kept the building well heated with its fiery molten core. It caused Dae to pull his wool coat closer together as he wandered the streets with no real intention of going home. Honestly, he just wanted to dive into his work on making one of his gadgets. As he walked his left hand rested onto the elaborate hilt of his rapier to keep the sword from patting against his thigh as he walked.

His wanderlust had found him walking down a path past a man who held a few mizas up for no reason. It was odd enough for Deadalus to quirk a brow at the man before continuing onwards. Looking forward he saw a strawberry haired woman in front of him. The speed at which he walked had caused him to nearly catch up to her heels. He wished to pass her although found himself simply following behind her...

Annie's face was passed around through word of a poisoner that dealt well with contracts. Normally she stayed away from getting assigned to the gangs of Sunberth but even they knew her. Poisoners unlike Doler were feared, Much like Wizards and to be avoided. Stopping in her tracks she quickly removed her hood turned around. Almost shouting she snapped, " I told you, I don't want your money! " It only took a few foot steps to where the man was within arms length, Annie was so short, And she dreaded it. Having to lift her arm up to reach his chest she poked him with every word, " So Stop. Following. Me. "

Even though Annie never got the chance to get a good glimpse of who exactly was following her it was to late to take her words back. Quickly she saw his weapon and shrunk, Stuttering softly she " Yeah know what, " Brushing off his chest she said lightly, " My apologizes sir. "

Annie thought about poisoning him, It would be a quick get away for her and to not much trouble would it bring her. Trying to offer a fake smile and a rather hard to keep up with conversation to distract him from her hands she slowly moved her hands to what looked like a thick purple paste in a bottle. If she was able to break it onto his skin without getting it on herself she would have time to run before he could get over the rash on his skin.
