Anna had claimed her usually spot in the Common Labs rather early, having cleared it of all clutter and made a good space for her work today. The young sorceress stood rather than sat, her grey eyes fixed upon a certain spot in front of her on the workspace. A piece of chalk was on hand, fresh and ready for use in bringing to life another product of world magic, both dangerous and powerful. It was much like Voiding, only instead of bridging other dimensions she was creating a bridge between two worlds. A dangerous proposition, but Anna's curiosity was piqued by a certain world due to her experiences.

The tall woman looked very much cut from a different cloth than the other pulsers upon Sahova, wreathed in fine black silk robes trimmed with purple with dress slippers adorning her feet snugly. A silver ring wrapped itself around her right ring finger, the sigil of a burning scroll upon the ring that marked her as a full Wizard of Sahova. Her long black hair was pulled into a high ponytail, bangs falling lightly around her face. Her body was not marred by starvation, in fact she looked relatively untouched by much of the horrors of Sahova outwardly. Inwardly was another story entirely, only the slight dark rings around her eyes giving testament to that. Eyes ravaged by the darkest of terrors, things that would have her waking up screaming for the rest of her life no doubt.

After much deliberation Anna finally started upon her Summoning circles, having already seen what the minimal circle looked like it was just a matter of repetition. Anna figured it was rather like Glyphing actually, though the art of Glyphing did not strictly require circles per say they were often used in Glyphing designs. In fact, they were used frequently in a number of World Magics Anna was finding. Perhaps there was a latent connection to be found there?

The first was the outer circle, which she made exactly a foot in diameter as she had no need for a large circle for the place she was going to open a portal to. Her fingers were tensed upon the chalk as she drew carefully, her skilled Glyphing hands used to not making mistakes in the crafting process but one could never be too carful. It was just a circle compared to drawing her Glyphing Barriers, however it was also a discipline of magic she was not familiar with.

Once the outer circle was finished Anna started upon the middle circle, in this one she included sixteen slots. This was the more tricky one and Anna made very certain to count out exactly sixteen so as not to over or undershoot the number. She had witnessed this process three separate times, so she knew exactly what to expect by the point even though this was her first attempt at doing it herself.

This task accomplished Anna carefully moved the chalk near the center of the circle and drew the innermost circle. This was the crucial spot as this was where the lines that would connect the whole summoning array together. The tall woman had appeared to block out most anything else around her as she worked, committing her full time and dedication to her craft much like she would with her Glyphs. This was her artistry, her work of art upon the world itself and the thing which would bridge two worlds together.

The innermost circle completed Anna picked up a sheet of parchment and placed it lightly down on the array, making certain not to smudge the circles. She used this parchment's edges as guides as she drew two perfect straight lines that intersected in the innermost circle. They needed to possess right angles, to be perfection. Anna would not accept anything less from something drawn from her own hand.

This task accomplished she set the parchment to the side and focused her attention towards the slots in the middle circle located just below the outermost circle. In each of these slots she placed a numeric digit in a counter clockwise pattern, the astral coordinates for the world she intended to open a portal to. Specifically, once finished the coordinates would be 8492841047291777, known as the Common World of Swalden to summoners.

This task completed Anna began to add Glyphs to the minimalist circle, knowing it really wouldn't need the added strength but it was more on principle. Her skilled fingers gripped the shortening piece of chalk tightly as she started upon a Focus Glyph where the lines intersected in the innermost circle. The stylized inverted triangle came to life easily and effortlessly, designed to channel magic where needed. It was the most basic of Glyphs really, but also the one used most often in Glyphing sigils.

Her eyes became distant again as she went about her task, once she finished her Focus Glyph the tall woman started tracing Paths of Glyphs along the lines themselves to add structure. Small heavily stylized geometric shapes wound their way around the lines, beautiful and elegant in their shaping. Her hand moved with a practiced ease, using chalk rather easily all things considered. It was certainly not her preferred tool of drawing, but it had its uses in the matters of the arcane.

Once her Paths were complete Anna started on a large ring of Glyphs around the outermost circle of the array, her Barrier Glyph. This one was designed with the purpose being to 'contain' or 'hold', the best sort to use in case something less than friendly opted to emerge from beyond the portal she was to create. As with her Paths her Barrier was made up of heavily stylized geometric shapes, only these were in a reverse order of the ones her Paths had been in order to differentiate between the two series of Glyphs. Since her circles were not that strong Anna was looking to her skill in Glyphing to make up the difference, possibly it would by her a few seconds if something nasty ever came through.

Her Glyphs done Anna stood up straight again, rolling her shoulders and cracking her neck at her finished task. Her grey eyes gazed over her work and searched for any flaws in either the circles or the Glyphs. Considering this was her first solo foray into the art of Summoning Anna figured this was actually lovely for all intents and purposes, not utter perfection, but it would service her needs. All she would need to do was to actually open the portal.

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

At long last Elaine was here in Sahova. The city filled with the rotting people. The atmosphere was dark and deadly, and the people was really indifferent. They were minding their own business. Although you could see a few humans in the streets, it was just matter of time, before they will live their unlife also. Elaine had just fitted in. Nobody had cared, she had been a ghost and she had been minding her own business. Searching for someone, for a person. She had no luck with it.

Two days had passed since she has arrived. It was hard enough to get here, but now a harder matter to find her friend. But how? She had to ask someone, even though she wasn't sure if she should ask these undeads. She wasn't even sure what to think about if they are even reliable. They cheated death, but so did she in someway. But she thought she is somewhat better, she didn't take another's body just to live more. She wasn't even living her life, it was just her unlife. But she was quite alright with that. Ever since she had been back in Zeltiva she had felt the first time that she was living her "life". That moment when she had changed...

Her incident with that spiritst girl was a tragic one. She had killed someone, who tried to help her and left her in the wildreness. But her memory will be with her. She had no longer heard the voices, she had no longer been emotineless, she had just "delevoped" her feelings, she had found herself. Her appearance has changed as well, she had that spirtist appearance, that's how memory will be remembered by Elaine. They looked nearly the same. But it's not only that spiritist who has changed her. It was also Clyde. That's why she was searching for him, she owed him both of her existence: life and unlife.

She was wandering in the streets with the people, slightly unnoticed. She had done nothing. She looked through some walls but nothing interesting. But she could tell that magic was important at that city. No wonder Clyde was here. But she was only wasting her time, she had many times to search for him, but still, it could go forever like that. She had to ask someone, just a direction, where should see search. She came out to the light and materialized herself a bit. Her face, her bodies were clearer now to others, she didn't bother with the limbs, she only wanted a little attention. She quickly stood in front of one of the nuit(she could tell he was one from his bags under his eyes). "Hey! I'm sorry, to bother but could you tell me where I can search for wizards?" Silly question, but the nuit answered without showing anything interest in his face. "...Try the Common Labs, over there..."

He said it with a bored voice while pointing at a place and quickly went on. Elaine couldn't bother by the behavious ,just raised her eyebrows just behind her. But there was no time for that. She went on to the place he has said...Common Labs. Yeah this might be the place. It was worth a shot. She has "dropped" her materialization she had no use of it anymore and So she went there. Entered a strange place she barely knew. She went through the walls randomly at any direction. No there, not here, not there, then she entered a room where a woman was indeed very busy. Asking again wouldn't have hurt. So she did materialize herself the same. Her head, her new face could see like a paiting with her new blue eyes and still brown hair, just like her torso with the her white blouse. She still didn't pay attention to her limbs. And as she went closer to that woman... she was familiar to her. "PROFESSOR ANNA!" She yelled loudly then added. "I mean, Good day! Sorry about that, didn't mean to scare you."

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

It had been a long while since last Anna had recalled being addressed by a title other than, 'Apprentice Marin' or 'Wizard Marin' if formalities were exercised at all really. Certainly a few knew of her former life as a Professor at the University of Zeltiva, though most recognized that as being in the past and gone from her life currently. The sorceress felt an odd twinge at hearing the title spoken again, a remnant of her past life before the horrors of Sahova had changed her so drastically. Of course, it being shouted at her hardly helped matters as she rounded in surprise to face her addresser.

Her eyes fell upon an unfamiliar ghostly entity, her appearance materialized to appear as a water color painting. Anna knew of a ghost much more skilled in that, being able to appear as lifelike as the day she had turned into a ghost. Still, skilled or not this ghost could probably still cause her some discomfort. Being hugged by Kouri was often cause for her to feel revulsion from the touch, ghosts in general were hardly fun to touch all thing considered.

Her voice sounded somewhat familiar, tugging at her memory lightly though her face lacked recognition still. The tall woman wracked her memory, trying to figure out exactly how it was that she knew the ghost hovering before her. She knew her, she just couldn't recall the name of the ghost or exactly where they had met. Anna focused on that voice and searched her mind for where she could have heard it.

Eyes widened in realization, that day in the Wright Memorial Library returning to her. It was when she had first learned, from a direct source no less, the nature of ghosts and their abilities. It was also when she had first been possessed, though it had been more mutual than anything else compared to Kouri's attempts. She had it figured out, and now that she had her trademark arrogant smirk creased her features. Yet another person from her past... she was noticing a recurring theme here.

"Elaine? Well, it has been some time no? A season or two at least." The tall sorceress said, her voice smooth like honey.

It was strange to see Elaine here of all places, on Sahova where the stories were not exactly favorable all things considered. Had the ghost followed her across the Outer Ocean? To what end? It seemed a very pleasant coincidence that Elaine just so happened to have travelled here of all places. Though... Anna supposed that hardly mattered, as ghosts seemed to rather enjoy sticking around her it appeared. Kouri was only one example.

"Ah, a poor host am I. That's hardly a way to greet an old friend. Please come over here, never fear I am not currently working on anything too explosive at the moment." Anna said, gesturing for the ghost to come closer.

"Also, feel free to drop the Professor title and just call me Anna m'dear. I am not a professor here on Sahova." She said, leaning slightly on her workstation and being very careful not to ruin her circles.

The sorceress allowed herself to insert some degree of familiarity, wanting to establish some level of comfort for the ghost. If she was going to be trying to get information from the dead woman it was best to appear friendly. After all, it wasn't like the other woman knew Sahova very well so showing the expression of an old friend was probably best here.

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

Elaine was just standing still, while Anna was examining her. She didn't understand while she was staring at her like she was stranger. But then she realized. She didn't quite look the same anymore. The closest thing she could remember of is her silent voice and clothes. They had met again and Elaine didn't mind it. A familiar face is always good. Anna didn't change in appearance, she was exactly like how Elaine remembered, maybe a little bit thinner. She gave a faint smile.

"Well... what a season to me, I have all eternity." She didn't know what she wanted to tell with this. She looked away for a moment, to gather her thoughts. Then looked back at Anna. Anna was friendly as she was in Zeltiva. She has suspected that she was too kind there. Again there was something strange in her kindness, but Elaine tried to not pay attention to it. She was a fool then, an emotineless fool. She didn't know people.

"Yeah so a lot happened. Don't worry. I'm the rude guest who pops out from nowhere. And I really don't wanna disturb you! " Waving her hand gesturing that she really didn't need anything. But then where could she go? Pointlessly searching. Maybe a bit talk with a familiar face would help, and afterall Anna might know more things than her. She wasn't waving her hand, but nod."...but I would accept your offer. Thanks! Anna." And went closer to Anna.

As she went closer, she was checking her table but Anna was leaning on it. Nothing interesting for her perhaps or if it was interesting, she couldn't understand it. She was still having a faint smile on her face. Her eyes were not empty anymore. They have showed a person finally, 'there was someone in them.' Even though Elaine felt uneasy. What to say, what to ask? She felt it rude to bomb Anna with her questions right away but then, she was impatient and was really excited now to meet with him.

She couldn't stop herself."Anna! Perhaps could you help me this time? I'm searching for a person here. A very good friend of mine. Do you know anyone here called Clyde Sullins?" She asked it, looking directy to Anna's eyes. "...Okay that have might been sudden. But please! If you do know him, do you know where is he?"

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

Anna quirked an eyebrow, not having expected that question to be the one to leave Elaine's lips. The Sorceress felt a slight tug on both her memory and her mark at his name, remembering having met Clyde in the Common Labs and spoken with him for a little bit. She also was still trying to piece together why she knew his name from her past, not like she had met him before but rather that she had heard of him. The other Chaon was similar to her in a few ways, though Anna still didn't know him well enough to reliably tell if he was friend or foe. Only time would tell, however the Sorceress knew that in that time she would need to better her Reimantic prowess. His Glyphs could absorb her magic after all, better to be prepared for the absolute worst case scenario.

Her expression became thoughtful as she regarded Elaine, pondering how the ghost could have known the other wizard. Actually... this was a stroke of luck really, a chance to learn more about Clyde Sullins from a third party like Elaine. Information was the key to success in many ventures, all Anna knew about him was that he was a respectably powerful Glypher and a Magecrafter, as well as a fellow Chaon. It might pay to investigate him further.

"Clyde Sullins you say? We have indeed met, you could say we are... acquaintances at the moment. Anyway I do not know where to find him right now at this very moment, though your best bet would be one of the first five floors of this building. Since he is a visitor until his Judgment he is restricted there at the moment." Anna said at length, shrugging her shoulders slightly.

"Ah, could you excuse me for just one moment, m'dear? I need to finish something up, we'll have plenty of time to talk once I get this done. Give me a chime." The Sorceress said with a friendly wink.

With that Anna turned back to her circles, taking up a small pin lying nearby. It was apparently a common object for Summoners to use to draw small amounts of blood to charge their circles. Anna would have just used her dagger but it was not currently on her person, so the pin would have to suffice. The tall woman quickly jabbed it into her left thumb, wincing visibly at the flare of pain that travelled up her hand from the wounded digit.

This task accomplished the Chaon placed her wounded thumb upon the outer most circle in her array, activating the Summoning circle in earnest. Bright lights flared out from the small summoning circle, followed by a loud sound reminiscent of water crashing violently upon the rocks of a shoreline. From the center of the circle and spreading outwards was a shimmering a bright surface, looking rather like shifting water on a tiny pool gathered on the workstation. A strange oily scent also filled the air with its creation, something Anna was coming to rather enjoy.

It was small but it was a gateway to Swalden, the world that contained the substance known as Memosite and the thing that intrigued Anna the most. Being that her mind had been robbed of memories and she had been stalked by a hypnotist who dealt in such thing, Anna naturally possessed a keen interest in such a place. It fascinated her how each stone was like a miniature experience apparently, how one could experience memories from another's perspective. Anna had not actually used one herself, though she had charged one before.

As the actual summoning could take a while Anna pulled up a chair and leaned back, her gaze flicking to Elaine now that her task was complete. It would likely be at most a Bell before the portal brought some Memosite to Mizahar so it gave some time to chat. What better thing to chat about than Clyde Sullins, their common contact? She was rather keenly interested to know exactly what Elaine knew about the mysterious wizard. It might explain why his name tugged at her memories so.

"So you know Mr. Sullins well then? Where did you two meet?" Anna asked innocently enough, her tone conversational and casual. She acted like it was perfectly normal to create portals to other worlds, though, considering that she was on Sahova it would have been strange if she had reacted differently.

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

Perhaps it wasn't a pointless searching at all. Elaine could be sure now that he was really here, in Sahova. And as the nuit said, her best place to search would be this building. Her smile was more honest now. It can't be long till she finds him. It was strange to know that Anna knew Clyde as well, strange but not unusual. She was about to move on and say good bye to Anna, but Anna thought the other way. She could stay for a little bit. Not in hurry now. She bowed a little and let Anna finish her things.

She stepped back and was mostly watching Anna's back while she was doing some magic at the desk. Elaine could only saw circles, perhaps that was glyphing as well, like the ones Clyde did. Drawing circles to do some tricks was still amazing to her. She was wondering what will Anna do with it. Play with the fire as well? Or with ice or anything? She didn't dare to go closer as she didn't want to disturb her or she would ruin it for the sorceress. But the effect was much different than she had expected.

She saw a flash of light and it was a portal to her. She heard many other strange things. Was it another world? Could she do that. Elaine was all just amazed and suprised, standing still and waiting what will come next. Nothing. Anna just turned around and sat down casually. It was so natural to her but Elaine didn't get used to it yet but she had to. Not like she has complained. It was fascinating. "Wonderful....Trully wonderful..." She said after a little time.

She looked around quickly for a seat as well. She was a ghost and it might had not been necessary for her to sit. But Elaine was still acting like she was still alive. She always had that manner but as time passed sometimes she was more 'ghost-like'. Going through doors and such, she wanted to make certain things quicker by it. She had found a chair as well. She let her soulmist to go around it. With the help of it she had lifted it up a little bit from the floor, so it won't make any noise while pushing it. Then with it she has pushed it little by little in front of Anna. When it was at the spot she let it down and sat down.

She looked at Anna. Elaine felt it would be more polite to at least materialize her face so it won't be that disturbing. And so she did. Anna could see that 'painted' face what Elaine had by materializing it."Indeed, I know him well. He is my... my.... dear friend! " She had trouble what to say. A strange feeling she had. "I met with him at Ravok. "

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

Anna quirked and eyebrow at that statement, that Clyde Sullins had been in Ravok a city she knew for being a place that worshiped Rhysol. A light tug pulled at her mark, as though the name as though it were actually reacting to the name in a tangible way. The tall sorceress pondered on that feeling for a moment and considered the implications, what it could mean as far as telling her a little more about Clyde Sullins. He was a powerful mage, that much was not in question however he was also a Chaon of Rhysol like her. Giving from the light tug at the name and a feeling in her mind regarding Ravok, as well as the fact the city apparently worshiped Rhysol was it possible he had been marked here? Purely speculation at the point, as she only knew what Elaine had told her about the city from their first meeting.

The tall sorceress leaned back in her chair further and cast Elaine an interested look, since she had been there perhaps some light could be shed upon it. She cast another glance towards the portal, making certain everything was still going smoothly all things considered. It was still swirling gently and steadily and thus far there was no Memosite coming through to this end. That meant she would have plenty of time to pick at the ghost's mind. Perhaps giving her an offering?

"Ravok you say? Interesting. I believe you mentioned it in our first meeting. Tell me, who rules this city? Like how do they govern themselves? I'm curious as besides Sahova I have never been outside of Zeltiva." Anna asked, the question innocent enough.

If it truly was a place where the Defiler ruled then Anna desired to go there one day, to find a place where she needn't fear for the mark upon her flesh. She loved the idea of a place where her mark would be a symbol of status rather than a brand for people to show contempt towards. It also might allow her to be better prepared in case Clyde inquired towards her marking, as well as her allegiances.

Anna hummed lightly to herself, regarding the portal as it started to shift faster and faster. A sound that resembled waves crashing upon the rocks of a shore was heard as something looked like it was rising from the watery depths. She leaned in closer as a blue crystalline chunk rose from the portal and clanked upon the workstation. A cord connected it to the portal, though Anna knew she was the only one of the two of them that could see it.

The sorceress cast a glance to Elaine as she touched the crystal and found herself slipping back, and back. Her mind was a swirl of shifting memory, as she was forced into a work unfamiliar to her. The Citadel and Elaine melted away as she was dragged back in time to another period, a place distant and long ago.

The architecture was sublime, beautiful in so many ways and reminded Anna of that of the Palsa Hydrasa. Various robed figures walked past her in the splendid halls of this place, though she couldn't infer who was who just from the looking. She felt similar to how she did when under the influence of a possession, unable to move of her own will and simply being directed along a set path.

She entered into a large room, a classroom setting as far as she could tell and looked upon the person at the front of the classroom. She was tall and scarlet haired, immaculate robes adorning her body and wearing a ring on her finger with a sigil Anna did not recognize. Obviously she was someone important, but who she was the sorceress could not know just from this memory.

It was starting to blur now, and though the sorceress tried to desperately cling to the strands of memory they slipped between her fingers like water droplets.

Anna lurched back away from the shard, her eyes searching around to recognize her surroundings. She was in the Citadel, on Sahova, it was the year 513 AV, she remembered but still that other memory was now a part of her. Where had she been? What had she been doing? Who had that woman been in the vision? Not answers, just further questions and they certainly vexed her. The sorceress turned her attention away from the empty shard of Memosite and to Elaine.

"Well... that was interesting." Anna said, her tone introspective.

Just like the last time, Anna was really curious and asked a lot from Elaine. It was againt too strange for her, but Elaine had strange interests also. She just tried to trash out that thought. But she wasn't sure how to answer her question. She was there, she saw a lot but she didn't really know what was going on Ravok. Elaine gave out a sigh. "I'm actually not that sure... they have some kind of goverment or so. Didn't really pay attention to the politics there, to be honest." Or she was just blind, she thought.

As she would carry on, she saw Anna's portal was ready. She could tell since Anna went back to her worktable. She was waiting on her chair but tried to take a quick look what she was doing. There was some kind of crystal. Elaine found it pretty, maybe she wanted to sell it for a good price. But then Anna has touched it, looked at Elaine and like Anna wasn't there, going to another world. Her look was strange and the ghost wasn't sure what's going on. Should she go for help? She waited a bit when she saw Anna was alright.

Interesting. Elaine was confused."Are you alright? What was that? " She asked and was worried. Could she be possessed? Bad thoughts got into Elaine's mind but she tried to trash those out as well."As I asked at our first meeting... do you really think you are not a masochist?"

Memories and Spirits [Elaine]

Postby Annalisa Marin on February 26th, 2014, 4:05 am

Elaine didn’t know much more about Ravok apparently, which was certainly a little disappointing but at least she still had the information from their last meeting. Ravok was a city that worshipped Rhysol, did that make Clyde a member of some clergy there or did it run deeper than that? Would she be considered a respected member of such a society, the crimson scar over her heart a sign of the Defiler’s approval of her actions? It was an odd thought as most other places like Sahova viewed Chaons as being dangerous things as far as she knew. Did that mean that there was a place where she could not only have beliefs respected, but touted? Pity Elaine didn’t know more, but perhaps Clyde could be convinced to tell her more.

Anna chuckled at Elaine’s comment regarding her apparent love of hurting herself, she honestly couldn’t disagree though it was for entirely different reasons that the ghost likely suspected. Magic was the thing that hurt her the most, most of her problems would not exist were it not for magic and its sway over her life. It was both her means of expressing herself and a painful mind scarring experience whenever she tugged at her Djed. Still, there was no turning back and even if she could Anna would not as her magic was wound up in who she was. Annalisa Marin would not be who she was without the experience’s that had shaped her, both the good and bad.

The vision had been so vivid, so powerful a thing that it had dominated her mind and made another’s memories her own. She had no idea what it meant or its significance, obviously it had either been from a time long ago or in a place Anna was unfamiliar with. The tall woman had no idea what Alahea had been like back hundreds of years ago, she assumed it was a lot like Sahova only with living people. The Palsa Hydrasa was essentially a testament to Alahean architecture, and she gained brief glimpses what it had been like through conversation and politics. Even still, it had only been a brief glimpse in that stone, enough so that making wild assumptions would be a poor idea.

So she focused upon what she did know, there had been a classroom so that denoted that the place she had been in was a place of learning perhaps. That unknown woman had appeared to be an instructor of some kind, so that only reinforced that idea however Anna was only grasping at what she could. Other than that she had no petching idea what the vision had meant, nor what this place of learning, if it was indeed one, taught. So the only thing she had that she was reasonably certain of was that it had possibly been a place of learning, and that the woman had been an instructor of some sort. Not exactly much to go on all things considered and was more perplexing than it was illuminating.

“Sorry about that Elaine, perhaps I should explain. This is known as Memosite, it’s a substance that transfers memories from one person to another. I was seeing another person’s memory; it is a… potent experience.” Anna explained briefly.

The tall woman focused upon the Memosite again, searching her mind for a memory of her own to place into the stone. After finding one the dark haired woman concentrated on that memory and how very vivid it had been, the sensations and feelings. She wasn’t just transferring a few words but rather a story that happened during her life, a full memory. It was a slightly disorienting thing really but Anna had done it before.

The waves crashed against the shore in the distance, the distant silhouette of an imposing citadel in the distance. The dock the ship grew close to was eerie and quite all things considered, though strange outlines could be made out about it. Fingers gripped the railing in anticipation as a shiver rain down her spine, perhaps some form of foreshadowing for events to come. There were shouts from the men aboard the ship, who were moving to and fro to ready to dock.

The ship lurched as it came into port, the golem speaking in a grating metallic voice and surprising a number of the men. Even still when they were set to board the Docks she was quick to disembark the vessel, an almost inaudible prayer to Rhysol being given under her breath.

Anna drew out from her memories, the stone in her hands now charged with a full memory. So Anna tossed the Memosite back into the watery vortex, closing the portal to Swalden and leaving only the oily smell of a summoning portal behind. Her little summoning session had been quite enlightening, though it had also raised more questions than answers. Hopefully more answers could be gained as she delved further into the discipline. Her gaze turned to Elaine again.

“I see, so you opted to come to one of the most dangerous places out there on a whim that you would find your friend here? That is quite a good amount of dedication, Elaine. He must indeed be quite a good friend.” Anna commented, hoping to keep the ghost talking about Clyde as much as she could.

Thinking about it, Elaine really did not know much about Ravok. She was wandering around the city's street, checking out certain places. Not like she cared about it that much back then. She was too busy blaming others for her own fault. These memory made her feel uneasy and embarassed. She was stupid. She had to accept it, she was indeed stupid and careless.

When Anna chuckled Elaine turned her head there. She raised her eyebrows and openned her mouth to say something, but she thought it's better if she just be quiet. And Anna was lost in her thoughts. She wasn't touching that strange thing again though which came out from the portal. She was thinking hard and was trying to tell what was it, but nothing came to her mind. She could just probably ask, it would be more straightforward. But then Anna was quicker and already answered to her. Memosite.

Transfer memories from one to another. It was indeed interesting. So Anna had seen a person's memory. No wonder, Elaine would had tried it herself but what could be the purpose of that? Then again, Anna 'was somewhere else'. Elaine saw she touched the Memosite again. It was that interesting? Something was there which Anna wanted to know. Again after a little time, Elaine was still just sitting waiting for Anna to come back.

She didn't have to wait long. After a chime or two Anna 'came back' to the room. And before Elaine could ask what she was seeing, the sorceress changed the topic back to Clyde. Elaine gave a little smile."Well, I'm silly aren't I? Just coming here for a friend." Or was he just friend? Elaine didn't know either. But she didn't want to tell too much. "He is indeed a good friend. My only true friend. And hey! I'm a ghost. I have time. Perhaps too much. "
