A surreal cavern city inhabited by Symenestra where stones glow and streets are reams of silk. Cocoon like structures hang between stalactites and cascade over limestone flows in organic and eerie arabesques. Without a Symenestra willing to escort you, entrance is impossible.

When Synntina nodded, Sayani turned to the upward tunnel again, and searched for a nook to grab. It was easy, finding places to put hands and feet, but the climb was long, and the tunnel got narrower towards the top. But it was the only way she knew that would get them to the lake.

Adjusting her bow in her back, so she could easily grab the rock, Sayani pushed herself upwards, going on a steady pace, carefully watching where and how to put her hand on the surface, so she wouldn't fall on Synntina. After what it felt like a whole bell, Sayani pushed herself up one last time, finally emerging on the lake cave.

The Symenestra straightened up, trying hard to steady her breath. She would need to train her climbing skills more, but now wasn't the time to think about it. Taking her leather strap from inside her quiver, Sayani tied her hair into a ponytail, before taking off her clothes. Now, the only thing covering her body was the silk wrapping the Symenestra seemed so found of. She had to admit it had its uses, like now.

"Take off your clothes, or keep them. It's your choice." she said to Synntina, folding her own clothes and placing them on top of a stone. "It'll be easier to move without scaring the fish with only the wrapping, though. And you will also keep your clothes dry."

After she had finished, Sayani looked at the other huntress, waiting for her to finish before moving on.

Synntina waited until Sayani took the lead before she walked up to the tunnel wall and let her hands easily find the grips of the side with the special technique that all Symenestra had. She always found it interesting on how all of their fingers had that velcro-like grabbing mechanism. It worked just as well on tree's as it did down here, if not better. As far as she knew, they were the only kind of people in the world that could do it, which was even more interesting.

It was not long before Synntina lost sight of Sayani for a brief moments as the other woman pulled herself up. Synntina followed quickly, her vivid golden eyes sweeping across the cave, adjusting to the dim glow from things in the water. She straightened up, brushing off her knees quietly. Her attention turned to Sayani, watching her undress down to the wraps that comfortably hugged almost every Symenestra body. She nodded to Sayani's words, crouching down to set her bow on the ground before undressing as well, hanging her clothes on a small stalagmite. She straightened up again, bow in her hand and ran a clawed hand through her silvery hair, deciding against putting it up.

"There isn't much to it." Sayani began, after Synntina was ready. She hoped the huntress knew what she was doing, as they would spend most of the time looking down, and her hair could easily get in the way. However, the other was a hunter, and Sayani wouldn't try to change the way she did things. "You walk to a spot, you take your bow and you shoot a fish." the Symenestra turned briefly to the other. "Walk slowly, so the fish don't get frightened, wait until they have forgotten your presence, and shoot. Try not to loose my arrows." after that, she handed the other Symenestra seven fishing arrows, taking the other seven to herself. "If you have any doubts, ask."

Sayani then entered the lake, her steps careful, feeling the cold water. Fishing wasn't much different than hunting, although Sayani didn't think it was as interesting. But she knew that Synntina wouldn't have much problem with it. She only hoped the girl would be lucky enough not to damage or loose the arrows.

Waiting, Sayani raised her bow, placing an arrow on it and breathing slowly, relaxing. A fish came in her direction, and she let go of the string, the arrow flying to pierce the fish. The others quickly swam away, but Sayani knew they would return shortly. Those fish were kind of stupid.

The Symenestra sent a quick glance at her companion. If she showed enough determination, she would tell the huntress what Valydor had told her, when the old hunter had taken a small party to the same lake to fish. Sayani wouldn't tell a incompetent hunter a trick, but if Synntina showed that she truly wanted to learn...

Taking another arrow, Sayani aimed at a second fish.

Synntina's bright golden eyes followed Sayani's movements with an intense, calculating way of observement. As she spoke, the silver haired woman handed her a seven fishing arrows in which she took with a small nod of her head. The woman in front of her then turned and waded into the water with slow, carefull steps. Synntina walked to the edge of the water and gave it a deathly glare before she stepped in as well, feeling the cold touch her skin and she flinched only slighty away from it, but since she was already in the water, there wasn't many places to get away from in.

She frowned but kept her footing, letting her long legs slice through the water with ease as she found her way somewhere to the left of Sayani. Her yellow eyes narrowed as she stared into the clear water of the cavern, finding the slow moving fish swimming around in patterns not recognizeable to her. Her gaze switched from the fish to Sayani as she raised her bow and after a few moments, shot at a fish.

Synntina was impressed, but this woman had done it before. Looking back at the fish she took a more steady grip on the bow in her left hand and reached for one of the arrows that Sayani had given her and set it gently across her hand. After watching the fish for a few moments she rasied the bow up, drawing back the string in a smooth motion. She waited until a fish she had been watching swam closer before letting her long fingers release the end of the arrow, sending it flying with a soft 'twang' noise. The arrow cut through the water like a knife and pierced the fish without second thought. Synntina lowered her bow, silently congradulating herself, although the ever calm, quiet emotion stayed across her face.

The fish she had shot into scattered, but as she had seen from Sayani's fish, they would come back soon enough. She had no reason to be in a rush anyway.
