Spring 38th, 513AV
Celestial Square
Drops of water pelted against Balcex's cloak, just another reason he was glad for the absorbent qualities that ramie possessed. The shower was light; he could tell by the slowly clearing sky that it would be over soon. He decided that on this particular day not to bring his spear, especially with the rain's tendency to cause weapons to rust and wither away into blunt uselessness. He kept his Talon sword with him, wrapped in cloth and held with a firm grip in his hand, the hilt poking out of his cloak, the only part that he couldn't really cover with the cloth; it wasn't large enough for that.
Balcex dwelled on his lack of knowledge on Nyka as he walked, still useless at directions, and often finding himself lost or being sent away by monks who had little better to do than bully the guests within the damned city. This was why he decided to head out despite the occurence of rain. He was hoping to at least get a little better at finding his way around the city lest he get himself into any 'Real' trouble. A smirk came to his face as he realized he was getting lost again, and hadn't memorized the way he came, he could have sworn he had past that building before. He dismissed the thought having decided he could probably find his way back one way or another.
---------
Balcex had been walking for quite a while, and it only suited to make him more lost. He was starting to get frustrated by the whole situation, despite the shower having stopped. He turned a corner and began walking as a yip of a dog pierced his ears, causing him to kick out violently as he jumped back. He was caught of guard already and a frown emerged upon his face as he looked down to see the small dog whining in protest from being stepped on. He expected that it was a stray and started to turn a corner before being interrupted.
