Blackburn Arms The local blacksmith shop, Richard Blackburn is a prominent figure in Mithryn not because he aspires to be but because he occupies a vital niche of the community's life. As the resident blacksmith, armorsmith and weaponsmith he and his sons are virtually indispensable. The Blackburns have seen to the smithy needs of the Knights and the Mithryn residents for generations. Their prices are reasonable for commoners and the Knights needs are free of charge though the shop is usually compensated in some small way as means of thanks. The Blackburn Smithy is a simple smithing shop, with hay covering the floors and worn, but sturdy, smithing equipments. The shop had been there for generations and it is likely to continue for a long while as Richard is determined to honor his family by serving the Knighthood and continuing his legacy to his sons, then his sons to their grandsons. Please refer to the Price List for details. Due to the remote location and limited materials, Blackburn Arms display fewer choices compared to the smithy in the Stormhold Citadel. Richard does take custom orders once in a while though, but the price doubles if one wishes him to make weapons not listed below. The man stands at about 6'3" tall and with various work-related scars adorning his forearms. He is a dedicated, keen, loyal, and no-nonsense man. He takes his job very seriously and won't take kindly to anyone who shows disrespect towards the Knighthood. In his eyes, the Knights are the reasons Syliras and Mithryn exist in the first place. He was born in the Mithryn Outpost from blacksmith parents, and he intends to stay there until the end of his life, serving the Knighthood and Mithryn citizens in what he does best, smithing.
