Flashback Question

Hello Mizahar! I was thinking about a few things and I realized I wasn't sure about something, so I decided to come here and see if anyone could help me. After reading through the flashback lore page I found my question was not answered there.

I was wondering, if you go a whole season only doing flashbacks for character and skill building, do you need to pay for seasonal expenses? I know if you do not post in any threads for a season you are not expected to pay those seasonal expenses (rght?) So what if I only do flashbacks?

Or is this a terrible idea?

I may be able to answer your questions.

Flasbacks are actually encouraged to flesh our your character!

So do not feel afraid to make them as much as possible!

And yes, you are not required to pay seasonal living expenses for the season you have zero threads in, excluding FBs, FB doesn't require any seasonal expenses.

So yes, if you only do FBs, then you are not required to pay seasonal expenses, but do note that you cannot do Flashback job threads or get any sort of monetary gain from flashbacks, except in rare cases and with a mod permission.

Actually, if you are gaining anything from a FB that would normally be purchased you have to pay expenses for that season

I can pull my PM if need be for that proof heh.

The actual answer to this question is that if you are at ALL active during the season and posting (regardless if they are current dated threads or just flashback dated threads) then you are required to pay seasonal expenses for the current game season.

Why?

This prevents people from power building their characters wealth and XP without forking over the costs everyone else is..

All active characters are. IF you don't post any threads in the current season but are still posting actively within the real time seasonal dates you must pay expesnses.... so you might as well post current as well as Flashback threads.
