Howdy and Hello Mizahar!
Once again I find myself hobbling over to the Matchmaking thread in search of various shenanigans. For some time now I have been fiddling with the idea of having Aoren go out in search of his family. Now, while I could flood the Help Desk with a multitude of NPC requests I feel that would detract from the plethora of stories that could be told given this avenue of Role-Play.
-Aoren was left in the care of The Welcome Home orphanage in Syliras. The Caretakers of the orphanage accepted him directly from his father. He was given only his name and a necklace once belonging to his mother. His father then supposedly left Syliras never to be seen or heard from again.
-Aoren’s father is missing. He never returned to Endrykas.
-The Skycrown Pavilion of the Drykas Clans is quite large, they are predominantly from the Diamond and Sapphire Clans in terms of heritage.
-The circumstances of Aoren’s birth are actually a bit cloudy and mysterious with some of it quite possibly being pure hearsay. Only those who were there would actually know the truth of how he was born. (Feel free to hop on over to my CS and read the Divination Gnosis Story.) That being said the specifics would only be known by his two step-mothers due to his father being MIA. Aoren’s mother died in childbirth.
-I purposely kept the details of Aoren’s family vague. When I created him as a character I did so with the hope that one day other players might portray his family members. That means any interested parties would have a lot of creative freedom to work with.
-Aoren may or may not have a twin brother. The details of this would have to be discussed with whoever is interested. Outside of that all of his siblings would be half-siblings and older than him by 1-4 years.
-When Aoren’s father never returned to Endrykas, the remaining Skycrowns may or may not have uprooted and moved to Kenash.
-I ask that if you have been on the website relatively actively for at least 60 days.
-I am committed to exploring the dynamics of Aoren encountering the family he has never known down the road. I politely ask that if you do decide to pick this up and write alongside me that you don’t leave me hanging!
1.) As people either show interest or I whip up some sort of update, I shall list them here!
