Stopping by to drop another tune here, I really enjoyed that last one you posted, her voice is wonderful! I really enjoy this song, but the music video is fairly fabulous as well, warning...a bit of gore
I'm going to take a moment to gush about Fringe, my absolute favourite television series of all time.
It's often visceral, violent, troubling, and heartwarming. There are characters introduced in moments of warmth and generosity, and those revealed in the midst of danger and excitement. The main character, Olivia, is basically one of my sci fi heroines. Her and her counterpart in the Red universe are so different from one another, and they've lived such different lives, that I can't resist enjoying their interactions, which are often lauded with insults and, before the Amber universe, Olivia's own doubts.
Actually, I should probably explain my favourite part: alternate universes. Three of them are explored within the series: Blue, which is the Prime Universe and Timeline, Red, which is the Alternate Universe in the same Prime Timeline, and Amber, which is the universe that resulted when Red and Blue were bridged by this super killer machine: The Vacuum.
The Amber universe is my favourite. I love Lincoln Lee, both of them. They are the best example of two different people resulting from the same life. Or Lincoln is a soft-spoken individual, but he's loyal, and logical, and actually very genuine. His alternate counterpart is more confident and direct, and actually leads his team where Olivia leads her own.
-- I feel like I'm giving too much away.
I have so few people to just gush about this show with, and I'm hoping people know it here, because I'd absolutely love to just chat Fringe. Like, Walter? Peter? September? Astrid? Dude, what about William Bell? I may discuss them further on. <_< This is probably one of the few topics I will drop almost everything in order to participate in.
This video I linked above, I found it while searching for Fringe-related videos, and it started a search for Lincoln/Olivia and Peter/Olivia videos, and some of them are actually quite beautiful.
Honestly, it's probably the most inaccurate representation of the race, and I really suck at doing hands and parallel features. There are a host of other things wrong with it (heh, naked), but it's what it is.
Also, a lack of colour.
As you can probably see, I use a lot of circles (and ovals). Most things I draw, if I want to put any sort of intention into them, have many, many circles.
Not everyone enjoys these and I do have quite an odd taste in books, but it never hurts to suggest.
~Brent Weeks: The Night Angel Series [Three Books] ~Scott Westerfield: The Uglies Series [Four Books] ~Lauren Kate: The Fallen Series [I think there is four, could be more now.] ~Cynthia Hand: Unearthly Series [Two books, again could be more now] ~Cassandra Clare: The Mortal Instruments Series [I think there is five books, could be more now] ~Becca Fitzpatrick: Hush Hush Series [I think there are three, could be more now] ~Richelle Mead: Vampire Academy Series [I think there are six books?]
That's about all that I can remember off the top of my head. xD
