Fall Calendar
With then end of Summer the city is alight with magic and fear. Outside the caves the leaves are falling and the days are growing shorter, a new race is stirring the world around them. But the Symenestra are not worried with this. With no connection to the sea, it's safe to assume that life will continue in the same way it does every season in their colorful and warm cave. Except the Symenestra have a worry of their own this season. The mysterious disappearances have stopped. The noises have stopped. It leaves the city in a curious suspense, but no one dares mess with the balance ... for now.
- ✢ 1st: The mysterious and terrifying shrieking continues up until the morning and all through the day.
✢ 2nd:After almost three days of the terrifying sounds, the shrieking has stopped. Citizens question the Ochya and Leading Couple about what they had planned to do about it. There is no response from the government.
✢ 16th: A Harvest group returns late in the evening, the town is alight with anticipation for the Notok Festival. The moods of most non-Symenestra turn sour as they realize what the festival is for.
✢ 17th: After the Harvest group has been given time to rest, and the surrogates have been hidden from the families, the famed Notok begins. The Clade is packed on the first day, no one wants to miss the city-wide feast. It is one of the most welcoming and happiest times of the year as family reunite with the young Harvester's.
✢ 18th: On the second day of Notok, the Clade opens its doors again, making room for Symenestra dances. Wives receive their surrogates, and the grand Notok dance begins.
✢ 19th: On the third day of Notok, the women gather with their respective surrogates entering them into contests judging the most beautiful or exotic among them. Prizes are on a grand scale and greatly coveted by the harvesters.
✢ 22nd: The Esterians voice their dislike of the Harvest, as another pure-blood Symenestra is born, at the extent of her mother's life. No one listens to their complaints, but the city it torn on celebrating another birth and mourning the death of the mother.
✢ 27th: Couples get one round of free drinks at the Hunter's Gather in celebration of the majority of the surrogate's pregnancies.
✢ 33rd: Whispers pass through that the ruling couple plan on disbanding the Ochya. The couple makes an announcement to deny the rumor, subtly scolding the citizens on their distrust, and readdressing the respect and gratitude that the couple holds for the Ochya.
✢ 41st:The Cobweb puts on a dance performance about the Symenestra's journey from Falyndar to Kalea.
✢ 45th: Mene Madras holds a free workshop, offering lessons on Common, in an attempt to reign more students in. Some more children enroll.
✢ 54th: Trader's from Sultros come to the Caverns. The Isur don't stay long, but the Symenestras get a good amount of metal for their silk and gems.
✢ 55th: Hovanir lowers weapon prices in light of the new metals. The Fang is offering weapons at 10% off until the 60th.
✢ 61st: Two young Symenestra are recruited into the Ochya
✢ 67th: The Salticidae Mines come into a fair amount of jewels. Gems are 20% off
✢ 76th: News comes that snow is falling on the grounds above the caves. Few care, since the temperature in Kalinor usually stay the same. Children are bundled up and allowed outside with under heavy guard, they are disappointing because it is only a dusting of snow.
✢ 88th: Kalinor experienced a rare and mild earthquake. A small building on the edge of the abandoned sector falls. The Symenestra panic, but are eventually put at ease by the ruling couple.
✢ 91st: The season ends
