His eyes are a matching earthen brown and can be described as "filled with emotion" due to Boulder's expressive nature.

Character Concept

Character History
Bouldiparde Roaringar, son of Isendar Roaringar and Maeli Ashfield, was born mid-Fall to a rather high quality lifestyle. His parents' marriage had been arranged after Isendar and Maeli's childhood friendship lead the two families to realize the mutually benifitial pairing. With destiny seeming to guide their hand, Bouldiparde was brought into a wealthy family, both in material wealth and historical.

Roaringar, the Noble Bandit :
The Roaringar name comes from a family legend. The first Roaringar was a nameless orphan boy who grew up more or less in the wilds of Mizahar. At a young age, he was discovered by bandits and brought into their numbers, mainly for their entertainment. It is believed Roaringar hadn't even learned the common tongue when the bandits discovered him, that he was more man than beast.

The legend tells of many great feats preformed by Roaringar. The signature tale, and the origin of his name, comes from the grand tale of wrestling two Kelvics, a lion and a bear, bare handed. Each retelling skews the story in various ways, becoming more dramatic each generation.

As a young adult, Roaringar allegedly took control of the bandit crew from its previous leader after their leader attempted to force him into murdering an innocent family. Many retelling have the bandit leader slay the father in front of his wife and small child. Though the gender of the child may change, and the city of the incident switches between Sunberth and Nyka, but in all versions, the bandit leader's demise is gruesome.

As leader of the bandits, Roaringar redirects his followers into a more "honest" method of work as mercenaries for hire. Instead of robbing trade carriages, they would guard them. Instead of preying on the weak, they would aid them. The original size of the group dwindled as more and more lost interest in playing the "Good Samaritan" type, but those who remained became infinitely more loyal.

The remaining few had been the most troubled under the previous rule, pushed into stealing or harming others simply to survive. Over half were at one point considered play-toys of the gang. It was one of these "playthings" that Roaringar took an interest in. She had been a prostitute in the gang, though not always willing and rarely ever paid. When Roaringar took over, she offered herself to him, as the previous leaders had demanded.

Roaringar accepted the carnal delights. At first, he tried to make the woman's life better by imposing on his followers that she was not free. However, the tale tells that he soon forbade any from touching her, as his attraction grew.

At the birth of their first child, Roaringar decided his personal name would become the family name his children would bear. His two human sons and three Konti daughters bore his title, and from there on the legacy of Roaringar the Noble Bandit comes to a "happily ever after" ending.

Modern Roaringar :
The name Roaringar is far from a household name. Even during the Roaringar Legend, there was never any telling of fame or fortune. To those outside of the Roaringar family, the Noble Bandit of legend was little more than the leader of a small mercenary clan. That is, if anyone even bothers remembering.

The Roaringar family liniage has become diverse with Konti, Akalak and many half-blooded mixtures popping up. Though the family name is not well known, it is wide spread, with at least a small branch in many of the major cities; Riverfall, Mura, Lhavit, Sultros, Syliras and Zeltiva.

In Syliras, there are a few of the true-to-the-blood Roaringar in the Knights. They may not spout their heritage, but often they prove their mettle on and off the battle field. However, a great many believe it wrong to actively seek valor for the sake of pride, and as such may blend in to the background.

Boulder's childhood was often a mix of excitement and humble. His mother, a Syliras born Konti, owned and worked her own farmland. Be it small, she had a natural green thumb that always kept it in good care. Boulder was expected to work the fields from a very young age. He wasn't quite as good at it, but he could at least do the heavy lifting.

Though his father was a knight, as was his father before him, Bouldiparde was not allowed to become a squire early on. His father insisted that he prove himself as a man before he could take the role of a warrior. He insisted that becoming a Knight meant, for a Roaringar, that they take on the same authority that The Roaringar did when he took over the bandits. His father was true to his name.

Bouldiparde continued into his late teens to tend the fields, interspacing work with personal training. Bodybuilding was his primary practice at first. It was easy to use the heavy bags of fertilizer as weights. During the off seasons, he would intensify his training, while adding swordplay and riding.

In his twenty-first year, Bouldiparde was given the right to become a squire. His father claimed his dedication to hard work and unwavering effort is exactly what it meant to be a man.

Bouldiparde has since moved into main city to stay with the other squires.

Hello there!

I'm Crosspatch, one of the friendly CS Liaisons on Mizahar! I've been looking over your Character Sheet, and I have noticed some minor issues that need to be resolved and fixed. Sadly these need to be done before you can continue roleplaying, so let's take a look at them shall we?

  • Please link your CS to your profile. This can be done through the user control panel.
  • I am confused by your history. It is mentioned that one of your character's ancestors took to more carnal delights with a woman - what was her race? If she was a konti and he a human then it should be noted that she would only ever produce konti - she would never have sons unless the father was an Akalak to which then the males would be Akalak, or the offspring would be the very rare Akontak. Simply there would be no mixed blood offspring stuck between if there is Akalak or Konti involved. Please confirm your history.
  • Again, as mentioned before, if your PC is human he would not be able to have a biological Konti mother.
  • The language of the Konti is Kontinese, not "konti" please correct this.
  • Please specify the riding animal your character is familiar with, i.e. "Riding: Horse".
  • At creation you have 50 skill points (SP) from the starter package to spend on skills. You have only spent 45 SP, please add an additional 5 points to skills of your choice.

Once these problems have been dealt with, drop me a PM and I'll remove this intervention and approve your CS for you. Also if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to answer!
