00CI moved them to next place so we don't all need to write every step. Sent a PM.
The situation was tense. But as it was made clear to Ornea that the supposed symenestra infiltration was a misunderstanding, she relaxed and let go of Lysilla again. The Inarta’s first priority was to get to the water mixer of Zinthia Rest so she could check out if the cause of the too hot water could be found there.
She had already asked the young man with the unruly black hair to support her and for the sake of Lucis reputation she decided she could as well make use of Lysilla’s talents too. Reimancy? It was forbidden to use it without permission so she sure hoped the woman was aware of that, lest she’d get herself into some serious trouble. But perhaps she was authorized to use it. It could actually be useful if Ornea needed to heat up some metal or something.
She ended up giving Lysilla a short apology and saying it would be good if she could come with Ornea and Brandon to the place behind the scenes and check pipes and mixers. Without waiting for an answer, she turned to the receptionist and explained what she was looking for and why.
After some urgent searching among a big bunch of keys, the receptionist picked one and turned to the very nondescript man who hadn’t exactly entered the group at the counter, but was hanging around like he was waiting for something. “Concino!” the receptionist said to him. “You heard it all. Here’s the key. Can you please show the way and let them in so we can get this fixed ! “
As Ornea asked for tools the receptionist bent down and picked up a leather bag. The Inarta grabbed the bad and taking lead she told the volunteers to follow. And Alses of course, if the councilor would like to supervise the work.
Concino ... Concino? Where had she heard this name before ? While Ornea followed the man along the corridors she studied him, but no bell rung. She couldn’t remember ever having seen him before. But still, that name ... Concino ? He was obviously working at Zinthia’s. This didn’t tell her anything.
They reached a door at the end of a corridor and Concino opened it. And Ivak ...the room behind was dark and full of pipes and somewhere in there the mixer was supposed to be...as it turned out there was a small lantern hanging on the wall outside and Concino took it from the hook and moved it to a hook inside.
Ornea entered and felt the heat; this room was the hottest place in Zinthia rest so far. She started to look around and the search for the mixer brought her further into the room, away from the door. For a few chimes she feared there was no mixer, but finally she found what looked to be it. She could see metal parts that were similar to what she had casted just another day ago. Metal parts, and taps...
Concino had went back out to the corridor. If the others had followed Ornea into the room with the pipes, she would expect them to come closer, hold the lantern and take part in what was to come. "Hold the lantern Lysilla" she said. "And Brandon, open the bag and give me a spanner !"
