Jeremy's Plotnotes

This forum is an OOC forum for PCS and Organizations to work out plans in hardcopy. Each PC or Organization gets a single thread where their players can help work out plans for their PC. Quests, mini-sagas, and Trips can all be organized here as well working out timelines and points of travel and things PCs need to do along the way. Each PC however gets only one Plotnote for their individual PC. Groups get one as well. There is no limit on individuals posting saga or trip plotnote threads. Please denote [PC Plotnotes] or [Group Plotnotes] or [Quest/Trip/Saga Plotnotes] when titling your threads.

Seasonal Challenges, Fall 515AV
  • Buy 1 article of warm clothing
  • Purchase a pumpkin and do something creative with it
  • Play a prank on someone you know
  • Take someone to see the changing leaves in the Bronze Woods
  • Participate in the Harvest Hunt
  • Buy or make a rabbit pie
  • Gather firewood either for yourself or someone else
  • Tell a ghost story or listen in on one

Fall 515AV brings about a whole new challenge to Jeremy's life. Following the events that took place at the end of last season, he finds himself loaded with a new responsibility that, in truth, terrifies him. Jeremy is to be a father: a thing he never planned, expected, or particularly wanted. A drunken night has resulted in a woman becoming pregnant, and the girl in question has a particularly powerful and influential father who scares the hell outta Jeremy.

He's loaded with responsibility and guilt: he knows the right thing to do is to invite the mother of his child to live with him and to perhaps even marry her, but as usual Jeremy's own anxiety and awkwardness stagnates him. He questions himself at every turn, and doubt haunts him every day.

Jeremy's Plotnotes

For some time now, I've been trying to think of a long-term goal for Jeremy. Something that may not even be possible, just something to work towards in threads. In fact, I actually ended up deciding that an impossible goal might be better, for the pure fact that even if I'm still writing on Mizahar in 50 years, I could still technically be working towards that goal.

The two things that define Jeremy are his gnosis from Caiyha and his dedication to defending nature. He cares about the natural world more than anything else, and would do anything he could for his Goddess' flora and fauna. So it's important that this potential long-term, impossible-to-achieve goal somehow interlinks with these.

So I figured: why not aim high? As in very high. As in... very, very, very high. So I started to think: if Jeremy was so dedicated to Caiyha, and her children, and all their shared domains of the natural world, what would be the one thing he would want above all else?

He'd want to be invited to join this family.

So, Jeremy's goal is a two-parter. For starters, he wants to be in favour with all (or most) of Caiyha's children. The only exception is Siku, as her gnosis centres more around poison and harm rather than understanding and communication. But Bala, Oriana and Eywaat (and Navre, though he has no gnosis) are all other deities that Jeremy would worship, and whose attention he'd like to earn.

The second part of this goal is for Jeremy to welcomed by Caiyha to join her divine family. Whether this would earn him some sort of Alvina status, or simply as Caiyha's right-hand man, he probably wouldn't care. The main thing that Jeremy would want is to have the utmost ability to protect and heal the natural world, to continue his mortal work.

INFP PERSONALITY (“THE MEDIATOR”)

All that is gold does not glitter; not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither; deep roots are not reached by the frost.
- J. R. R. Tolkien

INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the INFP personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

Strengths & Weaknesses :
Strengths

Idealistic – INFPs' friends and loved ones will come to admire and depend on them for their optimism. Their unshaken belief that all people are inherently good, perhaps simply misunderstood, lends itself to an incredibly resilient attitude in the face of hardship.

Seek and Value Harmony – People with the INFP personality type have no interest in having power over others, and don't much care for domineering attitudes at all. They prefer a more democratic approach, and work hard to ensure that every voice and perspective is heard.

Open-Minded and Flexible – A live-and-let-live attitude comes naturally to INFPs, and they dislike being constrained by rules. INFPs give the benefit of the doubt too, and so long as their principles and ideas are not being challenged, they'll support others' right to do what they think is right.

Very Creative – INFPs combine their intuitive nature with their open-mindedness to allow them to see things from unconventional perspectives. Being able to connect many far-flung dots into a single theme, it's no wonder that many INFPs are celebrated poets and authors.

Passionate and Energetic – When something captures INFPs' imagination and speaks to their beliefs, they go all in, dedicating their time, energy, thoughts and emotions to the project. Their shyness keeps them from the podium, but they are the first to lend a helping hand where it's needed.

Dedicated and Hard-Working – While others focusing on the challenges of the moment may give up when the going gets tough, INFPs (especially Assertive ones) have the benefit of their far-reaching vision to help them through. Knowing that what they are doing is meaningful gives people with this personality type a sense of purpose and even courage when it comes to accomplishing something they believe in.

Weaknesses
Too Idealistic – INFPs often take their idealism too far, setting themselves up for disappointment as, again and again, evil things happen in the world. This is true on a personal level too, as INFPs may not just idealize their partners, but idolize them, forgetting that no one is perfect.

Too Altruistic – INFPs sometimes see themselves as selfish, but only because they want to give so much more than they are able to. This becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, as they try to push themselves to commit to a chosen cause or person, forgetting to take care of the needs of others in their lives, and especially themselves.

Impractical – When something captures INFPs' imagination, they can neglect practical matters like day-to-day maintenance and simple pleasures. Sometimes people with the INFP personality type will take this asceticism so far as to neglect eating and drinking as they pursue their passion or cause.

Dislike Dealing With Data – INFPs are often so focused on the big picture that they forget the forest is made of individual trees. INFPs are in tune with emotions and morality, and when the facts and data contradict their ideals, it can be a real challenge for them.

Take Things Personally – INFPs often take challenges and criticisms personally, rather than as inspiration to reassess their positions. Avoiding conflict as much as possible, INFPs will put a great deal of time and energy into trying to align their principles and the criticisms into a middle ground that satisfies everybody.
Difficult to Get to Know – INFPs are private, reserved and self-conscious. This makes them notoriously difficult to really get to know, and their need for these qualities contributes to the guilt they often feel for not giving more of themselves to those they care about.
