Kuragari woke up feeling sore as always from all the errands he had to run during the week. He could completely recover all injuries and fatigue with a good night’s sleep. However that didn’t do anything for the soreness. Probably a reminder of what happened the day before, lest the memories fade into a dream. He smiles as he began to get dressed. If being in reimancer didn't work out, maybe he could write poetry. He left his bag in his room and locked the door behind him. He had a lot to do today, and not much time to do it.
Kuragari walked out into the bright sunny day with a smile on his face and a slight skip in his step. He had been working on furthering his res manipulation as of late and he felt so close to gaining access to a third element. As his mentor had said, he earned it. The thought troubled Kuragari though, causing him to stop next to the 'Under the Sun Magic Shop'. He wanted to buy some equipment, but he realized that he didn’t have the money to buy anything expensive. He had been here before, and almost always left empty handed.
He glanced around, almost expecting to be spotted or snooped on by a merchant. He quickly shook his head and entered the shop. He emerged several minutes later without purchasing anything. No, today he would be using a collection of notes that his friend had lent him regarding the various forms of personal magic. These would hopefully help him learn a little more about magic in his spare time. He would need every bit of help for his profession. He was also hoping to get into magical combat at some point in the future and this book was sure to help.
Kuragari himself had casted magic on others during short brawls and had witnessed first hand the damage that reimancy was capable of inflicting. He certainly wanted to be able to defend himself if he was put in such a scenario! It would be best that he have such protection himself, at least until he got stronger. He put the small book in his bag with the others, heading for his usual training area. He usually trained there with his aforementioned friend, Lini, although today he was hoping to train alone.
