Welcome. Glad you could join us on Miz! If you haven't already (As Astator said.) You should start of reading the Starting Guide. Helps lots. And if you have any questions. A lot of people in Chat (Up above on screen) can really help you out if they can. Which they could mostly.

Otherwise, don't feel to overwhelmed with the lore. Though, it can be quite confusing. And Navigation can be quite hard at first, but gets easier within time. (I use bookmarks, don't know if anyone else does). But, again. Welcome! Hope you enjoy your stay!
