Slipping the brass guard he’d just finished over the handle of the rapier tang she lined up the handle and pommel secure point which she’d forged out earlier up with it and assembled the full blade straight as an arrow with a simple yet functional design for the guard nothing too fancy as she didn’t like flash nor pizazz. Gripping the handle tightly she attached the screw pommel and gave the blade a hard couple of swings in the air to test the stability of her creation.

Solid and sound, a blade she’d be happy selling. Picking up one of her engraving tools and seeing the sheer force of her arm on the engraver like a pen. She drew her design into the steel once more. She ran her finger tips along the length of the razor sharp blade and then heard the slam of coin on the counter. Perhaps they’d meet again? Cy arched an eyebrow. Looking at him she grunted and placed the rapier on the counter top before stepping past Calder and picking up two short swords forged by her own hand two days passed. “Right, that’ll get you these.” She tossed him the two short blades hurling them one at a time in a manner that would be easy for him to catch.

After calder had left the building she’d sigh and slip the mizas into a small drawer beneath the counter and leave the coin be. The sheer weight of the thing even with her tremendous strength would be difficult to carry. To be honest she was surprised the wood didn’t buckle. “Petching locals” he’d mutter under her breath in isurian. Heading back to her anvil and her forge space she slipped another billet into the fires in order to continue her work. Only a few bells left until it was time for her to leave and she was determined to get as much done as she could in the time.

Comments: Cute thread. Cyrene's grumpy personality really came out in this one. Calder seems like a nice guy even if a little naïve. Just as a reminder, on Mizahar we aim to keep a minimum word count of 300 words per post. Some of the posts looked a little short and it's a good goal to strive towards even if you're new here.
