"Yes, you are," Jade said with a bright smile looking up at him.

Jade walked over and took the lead off the stallion rewarding him with a sugar cube. The young girl looked up to the man on the stallion's back happy she could help him.

"Let me know the next time you want me to help you out," Jade said with a smile walking away back to Diria.

She smiles and whistles loudly getting Diria's attention. Diria's head snapped up as her ears stood straight up hearing her rider's call. Diria raced over to her and skidded to a stop looking at the young woman before her. Smiling Jade made sure that her cloak was pulled up on her shoulders and mounted up on Diria. She waved to the man and went for a ride around the field a few more times having a great time.

Description "Alex Common" Alex thoughts "Myrian" "Fratava" "Others"

A small release of tension escaped Alex as he now sat atop the stallion. He felt more secure about how to handle moving in the heavy armour plating now. Alex watched her feed a sugar cube to the horse after the small amount of praise in her response to him. A simple comment of letting her know when next he wanted her to help him out. It wouldn’t be often seeing as the grounds were closed on almost every day to the public. Still it was good to know that he had someone willing to help.

He rolled the reigns in his hands now walking the horse up and down the grounds testing out his own balance and control atop the horse. He was steady but still not secure. He’d need more practice. A lot more practice if he was to ever get used to this. Steering the horse around the field took a little bit of time to get himself used too. At least on his own. When he was riding with Ser Greyheart he could mirror his patron’s motions. Use him as a example to follow. But dredging up the exact motions on his own was a little more complicated than it needed to be.

He exhaled slowly atop the horse running his hand lightly along the neck of the beast. Attempting to convey the feeling that it wasn’t the horse he was upset with but himself. Annoyed at his own lack of growth over the last season. In almost ninety days he’d barely changed at all. At least to him. In actuality he’d come a logn way from the loudmouthed little sneak in Ravok Nyka and Sunberth. He’d learnt the true capabilities of his minds openness to knowledge in Zeltiva and
its libraries. Something his patron had picked up on. Still though as he watched the flaxen haired woman circle the ground he felt a pause of thanks to her. She’d managed to help him with the horse long enough for him to get the basic hang of it.
