New Blood

Postby Sice Blood-Rage on May 4th, 2016, 1:00 am

Spring 18th, 516

The sun filtered through the canvas of the tent. Sice's bare form was sprawled out within her tent, her attire folded up in the corner along with her weapon. suddenly the Myrian woman sat up and tilted her head sharply to the side with a cascade of loud pops. "ugrrh" Sice growled as she half stretched out to reach for her clothing.

Wrapping the cloth around her chest she looked at her armor, the wolf pelts were more than enough to provide an intimidating visage. Getting her leggings on Sice picked up her large curved sword, the Tiger scythe, before saying a little prayer to Myri.

After putting her vest on Sice strapped the tiger scythe to her back and exited her tent to be greeted by the sight of her leopardbred and several humans gawking at the Myrian and her unique equine companion.

Shouting a command in the Myrian language caused the leopardbred to canter over to Sice. "myri damned humans." Sice said disdainfully as she stroked her mare's mane.

"At least i have you, would be nice to have other Myrians around though."

New Blood

Postby Jaios Coglias on May 10th, 2016, 9:13 pm

“One...Two...Three...Four…”

Jaios said softly as he was on the ground, pushing and lowering his body towards the ground. He kept putting off working out his body in detail when he was home but now that he was in a new city he felt like he should slowly start working on making sure he could handle himself. One of the ways he could was building up his body with more muscle as he kept pushing on and down forcing him to lift his own weight.

“Eight...Nine...Ten…”

He was able to do ten before slowly getting up from the ground. His arms in a bit of pain as he was not use to this just yet but he would get over it and figure out the best way. He was starting to find himself either passing time in his shop or finding ways to improve himself as best as he could as his green eyes looked over his little shack of a home.

Simple poorly made bed stood to the side but ontop of it was a python of sorts curled up where he was sleeping. It was his Isurain Python that he took from his home but she was slowly growing being around 6 feet long. He really did not have to worry about her eating as it seemed she was able to find the rats around but he made a mental note to get her treats later as he stood up and moved to rub her body.

“Play nice for now. I will be back soon.”

He told her as he moved out of the shack of his house. He would really need to find ways to either improve it or find a better place yet this city seemed to be like this no matter what. Even his shop was the same way as the homes but at least he had a shop. It felt like this city was a struggle no matter what.

Most of the city was filled with humans as it felt like he was the only one of his race but at least he did not get into too many fights yet. He was trying to keep a low profile for now but he knew that was just a matter of time until that was going to fail.

Yet that was still easy if he kept to his shop and home as even his outfit was simple. Basic shirt, pants, boots of a dull brown shirt, black pants with brown boots but he did not mind that as he wore his black cloak over his body as he made his way out looking about the city.

Maybe he would do something else before heading to the shop today. One of the things he wanted to do was to learn more of the layout of the city and find something for his little pet.

New Blood

Postby Sice Blood-Rage on May 10th, 2016, 11:56 pm

Sice donned her wolf hide armor pulling the face of the wolf over her own before deconstructing her tent with haste, not wanting to leave her horse alone for too long. Ropes were bundled into coils, the poles were tied together before being put away.

looking around her empty camp site the Myrian drew her blade from it's sheath with her left hand, before swinging it downward and spinning around in one fluid motion, her body almost seeming to move naturally and akin to a deadly dance.

drawing in a deep breath Sice closed her eyes. "step." she took a step foreward before drawing her extended foot across the grass around her. "draw your lines, and..." in a steel colored blur Sice began swinging the tiger scythe and contorting her body as she preformed her mad combat dance.

bringing the blade close to her chest Sice had a serine smile crossed her scarred face. "Come." she said sheathing her blade on her back before walking over and placing a hand on her mare and walking the short path into the mass chaos of the city. "Deyhans, lawless Deyhans." Sice said with disdain so strong one could practically smell it over the stench of the city.

New Blood

Postby Thalassa on May 12th, 2016, 12:25 pm

Thalassa has been traveling though she was certain she would never be used to the weather in more southerly climes. Of course, she had to admit most of the world was south compared to were she had come from. Keeping that in mind she fought the urge to fan herself, she was sure she stood out more than enough already, there was no need to make it worse for herself.

Keeping that in mind she straightened her shoulder and did her best to appear to know where she was and what was going on. She was not sure how successful she was in her efforts. She adjusted her hood, she was at least sensible to have something to shield her head from the rain or snow, or in this cause heat. It did give her the added advantage of blending in ever more, her face tended to make her stand out and receive more attention that she wanted.

It was early yet and she snacked as she walked. Not that hard bread and even harder cheese was much of a meal, but she was loathed to spend even more than she had to, at least not yet and scanty rations while not the most nutritious of meals served to keep her from starving to death and kept her from being too hungry.

Hopeful she would come across something that she could use to provide for herself. She was sure it would not be anything glamorous, but beggars could not be choosers and at this point she was not proud when it came to that sort of thing.
