Hi folks! I'm looking to get Karin to start practising shielding. I was wondering if there was a PC in the city who is a shielder? She'll be willing to pay (but probably not that much! xD ) or maybe offer whatever she can that isn't money in return for a lesson or two.

Hi Folks!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm finally back from vacation (Gillar and I took off for Bocas Del Toro in Panama) and am trying to play catchup. I'm sorry I didn't get to any of events I had planned for Summer, but the last two big event seasons went virtually ignored so I thought a break would be welcome at least for me. It was.

Now, in the next two days I will be posting a calendar and events. We are going to start small because I realize big events tend to get ignored. Maybe some smaller ones would be more welcome. As always you are free to comment and make a suggestion or request if you'd like. I'm open to what the players here want to do.

I'm wiping my PM slate clean as of right now. That means if you have one outstanding with me, you'll need to RESEND that PM because frankly I have hundreds and to go through all of them is going to take up too much time. I know this sounds hardline, but I'm really into my pm box to the tune of a thousand PMs, a lot of which came over the last month.

You'd be surprised at how many players need something RIGHT NOW today and in a week its not a big deal and not important. I need to swiftly get back into Miz without a whole bunch of baggage to weigh me down that I have to go through. But if you have something important - like a job, wages, setting something up, etc.... PM ME! Sorry I made you do it twice, but I can't help it at this point and need to 'start fresh' or go nuts. Sorry for any frustration or inconvenience.

Season change is today so make sure you have your threads done for wages and seasonal XP if your interested.

Hello! I'm hoping to start playing Aq/Sulei in Riverfall. They are a sailor/deckhand and ship out frequently on trading vessels but always seem to blow back home to Riverfall. I'm sorry I haven't been around folks. You deserve a lot better and you are going to be getting it. I've been working a lot this week and recovering from an uri that I picked up on the plane back from Miami. Its leveled out and I'm definitely on the mend so the calendar is going up tomorrow (or tonight if I get a few other things done). I want this season to be about personal growth. I know we don't have a lot of players in Riverfall (again my fault for being gone most of last season) but I want to take the ones we have and give them a lot of attention and personal growth.

I also want to facilitate pcs interacting with each other and getting linked in unique ways. I think developing circles of friends and rp groups is important to keep people interested in their PCs and keep their storylines going. I want to encourage that here. I have an idea to set the city up with a common enemy this season that will involve the Kuvay'Nas and Kuvan as a whole to set things to rights. Its going to read like a game of clue. So I will be popping into threads I see forming and dropping clues. You will need to share clues PC to PC in order to put two and two together and get things going. Depending on the threads we have and the pcs we have interacting it will be either a short list of clues or a long list. If you do a lot of solos, you might not get enough info to participate in the city theme for the next three seasons.

If you want to make this critical to your RP instead of just a background flavoring, let me know and I'll give you a prominent part and some extra attention with thread work. I have time this season (due to my work schedule and the time of year) to put a lot of words out there in the form of threads. Lets take advantage and see if we can work together to have some fun.

Also, I'd like to see some more activity on this OOC thread. Lets posts signs, memes, and even jokes... communicate with each other. Get to know each other. Spam the heck out of this thread. We need it. Such things builds community.

PS. PMs will be addressed shortly and no one will go broke just waiting on me to pay them wages etc. Keep that in mind.

I'm definitely all for more IC and OOC activity! The whole citywide mystery sounds really intriguing (even though Orin isn't a Kuvan).

In other, semi-related news in honor of the start of the new season I've posted an open thread here. Please, someone, either rescue Orin from his misery or get annoyed that he is continuing to block the entrance to the Library.

As to the plans for the season, I'm very excited to see what happens. Personally I'd love to see Karin making more friends, and to see those webs of friendship between others too in the city- well, that'd be wonderful.
