Spring 56 517AV
Garland was one tough squire, he has taken blows that would render other humans(but not Isur or Akalak) crumpled up in a ball in pain and groaning for a healer of some sort. Garland would get shot with an arrow and it would only make him angrier.
Although he was also one of the jolliest men people would meet, a man that looks out for people first and foremost, duty and honor are just words and they would mean even less if it meant he left people that needed his help.
So he did not hesitate when Elin asked him to help train her. He didn't think himself a good teacher but he was asked specifically and he couldn't just say no.
So Garland had left the squire only Training Grounds and headed off to the only other place one could train with weapons of almost any caliber; The Fighter's Pit, owned by a ex-squire that didn't quite follow in the footsteps of his prestigious family.
This Spring was as hot as summer and it only seemed to get worse as days go by. Garland sighed and stretched in the pits while he waited for Elin, he wanted to get a drink, but he had plenty of time to drink later.
When he was done and threw a few punches and kicks in the air, he didn't need it but stretches could only keep him entertained for so long. He felt someone step behind him, and instinctually he grabbed the hand of whoever was behind him and threw them over his shoulder.
"Whoops..." Garland said when the body landed in front of him. It looked like someone who was also training here. "Umm... Sorry?"
"Ow..." The person said and pointed behind Garland. "Someone was looking for you, ye prick. Ow..." The man groaned and Garland turned to face whoever was looking for him. Hopefully it was Elin.
