Kadirri Steelhand Terras

Appearance

Race: Isur
Gender: Female
Age: 67
Birthday: 31, Spring, 450
Birthplace: Sultros

Appearance: Kadirri is a young woman with long blond hair, brown eyes, and what many would call an athletic build. Tall for a woman at 5'2”, she is of slender frame, but also has visible definition from all the time spent in the forge. Like many Isur she often wears as little clothing as legally possible to show off a body she is very proud of. This also makes her easily identifiable as a member of the Terras clan due to her purple arm.

Character Concept

Kadirri is a rarity among her people, in that she is an Isur who developed that itch to see the world beyond the kingdom of Sultros. How or why, she's not sure, but the young weaponsmith wants to see what's over the next hill, or beyond the next bend, and learn more about other peoples and cultures. That doesn't necessarily mean that she wants to go out and party, or chat up a storm, but she does want to learn. Like most Isur, Kadirri prefers to keep to herself, doesn't speak to others excessively, and prefers to keep most non-Isur at arms length on a personal level. There is also a bit of Isur pride involved as well, as she wants to see if the works of other lands and smiths, can even come close to what her people are so well renown for.

Kadirri is also the product of a mixed marriage, after a fashion. Her father is of the Pitrius clan, and her mother of the Terras. For that reason she only only has an innate talent in the art of creating weapons, she has also developed a strong desire to form a connection to Izurdin. She not only practices her skills in the forge regularly, she hasn't failed to pray to each night since she was old enough to understand how. Kadirri is also a rarity in that she almost never drinks, seeing alcohol as something that addles the mind and the senses.

Character Personality

Most people would consider Kadirri to be cold, and stand-offish, however that stems largely from the outside world's lack of understanding of the Isurian people. She doesn't go out of her way to be mean, rude, or cruel. More than anything she, to a degree, pities those who lack the gift of Izurdin, seeing them most often as lost and lacking guidance. Kadirri isn't a very talkative person, saying what she means, meaning what she says, and little more.

She is also known to study both people and cities, trying to learn more about them. One thing that can occasionally get Kadirri to actually talk more than normal are questions about Izurdin, as that is one area of information that she is willing to share with others freely. She values honor in word, deed, and action, finding that a hard day's work is not only a way to honor Izurdin, but in many ways that which can be accomplished is a reward in and of itself. Kadirri also looks upon the body as a temple given to her by Izurdin and treats it accordingly.

Character History

Kadirri was a problem child from an early age, but not in that she caused mischief or harm to others. Always curious and eager to try new things, from the time she was old enough to walk, the child was always on the move. It took everything her parents had just to keep track of her. The only time she ever really sat still was during religious services. Ever curious she was eager to learn more about Izurdin, though found it hard to investigate a divine being beyond what was to be found in religious texts.

She also spent a lot of time in the family forge, learning about the ways of metal and other materials that could be used to make weapons. This is also where she was taught about the mark of Izurdin and how it gave her the ability to sculpt wood, brass, and bronze, as if they were clay. As Kadirri got older she began to wonder what the world outside the confines of Sultros was like and started to undertake little adventures of her own, but knew better than to stray too far.

At the age of 55, she decided to venture out into the world, despite the wishes of her parents. Until that time, her travels had been limited to the underground, with very little time spent above. Traveling abroad, Kadirri has so far visited Lhavit, spending a few years there. Plying her trade, Kadirri earned a living, saved up her money, and eventually moved on. All the while remaining a mystery to others, due to her distant and aloof nature. In recent times travels have taken the young woman to the city of Alvadas, and she has decided to settle down there for a time to see what the people of this place are like.

Hi Kadirri,

Your CS can almost be approved. I would simply ask that you change your heirloom. Isurian steel is very difficult to come by, even in some ways in Sultros itself. Once you have picked a different heirloom, please PM me and let me know (or if you have a question about it, then also PM :) ) and I will approve this CS.
