Herein lies the realm of dreams, where dreamers who are scattered all over the world in the physical can come together in the mysterious world of dreams. Remember, unless one is a Dreamwalker, there is no control over dreams. Ever. Anything can happen, and by threading a dream, you are subject to whomever can walk dreams and the whims of Storytellers.

48th night of Summer, 512 AV

Youth is a difficult thing to measure. Who was Rohka at this time of her life? Recovering, from a version of herself that existed before the Storm of 512. She was just as naive, and just as fragile, and perhsaps even more selfish than she is today, if that is possible.

That night, she went to sleep in her home within the Calico residences. Times had changed, the cold lingered in the summer air. Faith had been tested in those days, strongly in fact. The Voice was missing and Rhysol had been... well, it was always hard to tell where Rhysol was, exactly. Rohka could only hold her belief in the goodness of his ways and the presence of his all-knowingness at all times. Regardless, the storm was tragic, destroying so much, even parts of their home. They'd been rebuilding ever since, and Rohka was tried and tired from the help she'd provided her father with organizing and coordinating the effort to restructure and design; to ultimately help manage the large amount of work required by the entire family and lumber company to bring back business-as-usual to their everyday life.

Sleep came for her easily. It overtook her weary body and she settled into her sheets with the embers of the familial fire helping to bring comfort to the sleeping household.

Soon enough, she entered a deep blue arena of play.

Perception heightened, and it was hard to tell whether the blue was really blue or if it was just her imagination. Was she underwater? No, she thought.

I am in your mind.

Somehow, Rohka knew the soul she was speaking to. She felt familiarity with it. The perception of whatever 'body' she once had before her dream state was telling her that the connection was deeper than she could imagine. The blue around her became a bit more vivid, indicating the agreement with her analysis. She smiled, internally, and became curious as to how she was called here. She asked.

Who are you? What do you need?

The space didn't answer immediately. She felt a warmth, like a hug that came from an idealized figure, and there was resistance in her at first before she let it consume. It was consumed while she felt herself creating a bit more space around her.

She didn't know how to return the hug.

Spaces in between

She watched the blueness, turning deeper, into a black that was more vivid than any black she’d ever witnessed. A black so bright it seemed to ignite. In a way, she couldn’t tell if it was truly black or actually light, but she could see the potentiality somehow… the potentiality of every colour to come alive around her.

That presence remained. It hugged her tightly, a grip that enveloped her in a way she never knew she could truly feel. A wave of emotions passed through her being, before a certain blankness came upon her.

There, in the darkness, a vague form began to surface.

First, it was the teeth. Sharp, like a shark, in amongst an open jaw, stretched wide. It came for her.

Swallowed her whole.

She travelled down the long neck of it, seeing the textured interior before landing in the belly of what she began to think was a massive whale.

The presence was inside. The belly was like a cave, its murkiness shifting in its space and form. She felt herself flowing to the edge, finding her hands, extending them outwards until she could see her fingers. They looked so strange.

She kept extending her fingers until she could feel the belly. Her hands felt a warmth, and the presence shifted. Rohka naturally, instinctively, and completely in rapture, began to caress the wall, and felt the entire presence release a continuous cycle of a pleasurable love.

It was what was needed.
