Okay guys.. here's a Heads Up.

We are having a staff meeting for the Wind Reach team today at 7pm EST. As with my usual transparency, I'll gladly allow folks to sit in after 730pm EST who are not members of the staff. This is a good chance to capture a mod and get their attention or see how we go about planning things. Give us, however, a half an hour courtesy to discuss supersecret ginger goings on (tm) first. This will be in chat in the Wind Reach forum. And if folks pop in early, I'll password the forum and get all kinds of grumpy... but after the 730 mark, feel free to hop in.

Okay as per our meeting, there's going to be some changes in WR.

First and foremost, if you request Endal status, you must post a flashback thread regarding your bonding. If you are a current Endal, you will not be grandfathered and not required to post this. If you don't have a bonding thread currently, you MUST post a flashback thread regarding your eagle bonding. This is for your own good. Please post them, no length requirement, but we are allowed to heckle you if they are one post long. If you have yours posted in your CS, its fine to transfer it to a thread for XP and lore credit. Please do this as soon as possible.

To apply seasonal wages, you must pm me directly with at least two threads you are doing your job/caste duties in and I will update your SS. IF your SS doesn't say you earned the coin, you didn't get the pinions.

The Storytellers now have specific jobs. Please Listen closely:

• Amanda( Flicker) – Entry into WR, getting Started, Gate Posts, and Valintar
• Jules (Phoenix) – Side Businesses, Career pathways, Resource Tracking (Where folks get their resources/supplies,etc), descriptions of locations she's agreed to do.
• Jen (Goss) – bonding threads, pregame approvals, wages, finish Player Guide, do infirmary, start gnosis mark threads for assorted people
• Zac (Dream) – finish threads, work on any development gaps he might have
• Nina (Mercury) – Yasi studies, thread grading, TB locations
• Everyone: Grading threads and answering questions

We would also like you to put your questions, no matter how specific in the this thread because we are going to try to educate everyone and get to questions as quickly as possible. That way new players can read this thread and learn a whole lot just by doing so.

Dreamcatcher's status will most likely change after the 18th. Stay tuned for that.

A guide for having a business or sideline job will be forthcoming in WR's Player Guide thread. We have some ideas on this and Jules (Pheonix) will be in charge of organizing these things.

New players, expect greeting pms from Amanda (Flicker). She's going to be so nice to you that you'll think you've died and won the lottery.

Also, one more thing. If you take on apprentices and stop posting, those apprentices have full permission to go through mods to get the use of NPC teachers to self mod or get moderated threads from storytellers to aid their learning. Don't take on students if you can't post regularly.

Hey Folks. No one has turned in a request for seasonal XP from last season nor have they turned in salary requests. Let me know if there's anyone who wants theirs.

Drawing Your Salary

If you wish to actually collect your salary, this is not an automatic process. You must 'prove' your activity level by participating in at least two threads that depict your job or caste activities. In order to actually collect your salary, you must pm both thread links (or more) to your local Domain Storyteller and they will add your salary into your Storyteller Secret thread and send you a pm back saying you've earned it and they've updated your SS. Seasonal XP is awarded this way as well. See the section titled 'Seasonal Experience' for further details.
