An Ethaefal requires help!

Greetings, my name is Lupus!

I joined Mizahar awhile ago and never quite got around to creating a Matchmaker post until today.

Basically my issue is this, I'm an Ethaefal who has just crashed onto a beach and I'm lost and confused, right? What kind of strange opalescent creature wouldn't be dazed and impaired from such a strange mortal birth? Now what I need is this. I need someone who's capable of helping my character start somewhere, preferably with any kind of offensive magic.

I've two reasons for desiring this. The first being that I like magic. It's just plain cool, and anyone who disagrees hasn't tried role-playing to it's full extent. I like the idea of Reimancy, Morphing, or Projection. I'm willing to change my starting city to befit anyone's needs as I've not made a first starter post yet. I quite literally have yet to make my character wander through the city gates. Though I'm very eager on starting. So that's about it. Pardon me if this seems broken or hastily hashed up, I'm quite nervous about all this.

I'm willing to have my character pay up for the tutoring, as well as any help with boarding or food, etc. He can also offer assistance as a helper, do things for the person. So this is also a kind of offering to be a worker while learning. Or even exchange work for knowledge. I don't know. This is completely open to debate, and location, so hit me up if you'd like to work this out!

Ah very nice and good luck to you.

Since you haven't started quite yet perhaps you would like to invest a decent amount of points into a job related skill?

And possibly focus on one type of melee and/or ranged fitting style

Other then your character seems fine (Skill-wise)

On a more helpful note- I hear Lhavit is the city that is based on astronomy and the place is actually very big on magic, seeing as it is seen as a normal occurance there. Read up more on it types of since that is not the full story of it. You'll easily find it never is, in these types of things.

Thanks for the advice, and I'll definitely look into it! I honestly do appreciate this. The Ethaefal race intrigued me the most due to it's connections to the alternate realm and such. That and it seemed interesting to me to create a magic-based creature that bore an appearance as Ethaefals do.

I will teach you Aurstics if you like. That is all Sitka knows. There are plenty of opportunities in the city to learn magic.

That and Auristics doesn't interest me too much. I can understand the allure, but my character is more of a.. sadistic type.

Anyways... if you are looking to fall in Denval I'm more than willing to be your threading partner and moderators are always open to teach magic in their cities.
