Well, not exactly, but I am looking to play one, here.
I was told about this project by Aneira Haimati (who is new, herself). I was impressed by two things. One was the dedication to good writing and its presentation as a central part of the experience. The other was how clear it was that the person(s) who put this together had a definite artistic mission in mind when they did it. Beyond all the cool races and neat takes on magic and such, there was this clear idea that they were trying to take the things we all love about the fantasy genre and put them on display in new ways.
I love that.
I'm an old school, pencil and paper RPGer from way back and have both played and GMed my way through a number of stories. I also play and run such games online in forum environments. A while back, I played Ultima Online and enjoyed the more free-form, collaborative stories I could engage in with some of the player community in guild forums and such, but to be honest, I'm still reasonably new to it.
I look forward to helping to pioneer some Dhani RP, and I look forward to being oppressed by women. In game. Well... no, I'll just leave it at in game.
