Sunberth's Rotting Mansion

Image Sunberth is a city without government, seemingly without rules, maybe even without consequences, yet that is not the case. A man in particular, Robern "Rotter" Dalagnar, claims otherwise. He says that the city Sunberth belongs to him, and he has hundreds of armed soldiers, thugs, thieves, and rabid supporters who wouldn't think twice to tear a man in half if they dares to speak out in disagreement. Robern is a man who is notorious for his charming smile and his civilized business management, as well as his cut-throat execution of competition and tenacity for staying in control. The Rotter originally got his name years ago when he would hang up his victims in gallows, allowing them to die from the sun, starvation, dehydration, or if they were lucky, thrown objects from the Sunberth crowds that would, without mercy, harass them. These victims would not be taken down until another person was to be hanged for "Justice", which was obviously anything that meant personal gain for Robern himself.

The Mansion is a large building set beside a make-shift gallows and surrounded by various large housing complexes, usually zealous supporters and allies to Robern himself. Inside the mansion, which is oddly enough open to everyone, is a large den area where a grand fireplace sets, fancy furniture, and a massive run made from a dire Talderan White Bear (rumored to be Kelvic). Beyond the den, the Mansion is off limits to anybody but Robern's "Daggerhand", or his handpicked thugs. These men, who are tattooed with a crimson colored dagger on their forearm and pectoral muscle (over the heart to symbolize where to strike a traitor), can be trusted to be veteran killers and experts of combat. Robern wouldn't entrust his life, and more importantly the life of his daughter, to just any easily bought thugs.

Even the Daggerhand know better than to cross Robern, less they too want to hang from the gallows until the crows and ravens undress their bones.

NPCs

Robern "Rotter" Dalagnar

Image Robern is possibly the closest thing to a Ruler Sunberth has had in fifty years. A man that plays dirty politics to the extreme with a nasty tendency to leave his opposition in shallow graves, if they are lucky enough to have any sort of burial, Robern is not a man to be screwed with. He is rarely seen outside of his home, but when he makes an appearance, he has an escort of at least a dozen Daggerhand brutes. When Robern talks, everyone listens.

In reference to business, Robern is one of the three primary figures fighting for control of the city. Though his reach falls short of the Docks and the areas near there, he has a strong grip on various taverns and gambling rings in Sunberth. Brega's brothel also happens to be under his thumb, though most other brothels have currently escaped him. Robern's income consists mostly of taxation of merchants, guards, shops, brothels, taverns, imports and exports, as well as a small amount of drug trafficking.

It is a rarely known fact that Robern refuses to deal outside of Sunberth by any means. He will not touch merchant vessels at sea, caravans on the roads. The only exception is if a man deserves to die and he has fled Sunberth, then Robern hires a man that has been rumored to be a ghost, never seen, never expected, and never fails to get his kill. Nobody escapes Robern's wrathe.

Libayna "Libby" Dalagnar

Image Little Libby Dalagnar is the pride and joy of Robern Dalagnar. She is his only child, daughter of his wife who was murdered brutally roughly a decade before. Libby was fortunate enough to survive the attack that took her mother, but she didn't escape unscathed. Even today the right side of her face tells of a severe burn from poison that only grazed her, causing permanent blindness in that one eye and a face she hates to look at. Despite the burn, Libby is generally considered as one of the most gorgeous ladies of all Sunberth, even competing with Brega herself for looks, though there's even less that can compete in being dangerous. Libby is a woman after daddy's own heart and shares his brutal views of Sunberth Politics. She enjoys watching in on torture, and even though Robern says she's too delicate to ever have to lift a weapon, she gets a thrill out of joining in, just to hear screams of pain.

Libby is also known to be adventurous, and though her father has commanded Daggerhands to watch over her at all times, she often escapes them intentionally just for the sake of earning a little freedom. However, she is rarely alone even when she escaped her guards, as there is a pet of hers that cannot be lost, a Dire Wolf, name Whites (it's ironic because it is dark gray) that follows her constantly, and could easily tear a man apart in seconds. It's happened before, and it's not beyond Libby to instigate violence just to get a rise out of Whites.

Bad News Everybody. School is picking up, Exams are beginning to happen, homework is growing time consuming, I may soon be evicted from my apartment, I'm dealing with severe and physical fights among several of my best friends, and I can't seem to find a time to get much needed sleep. I'm terribly sorry, but don't expect to see much of me for a long while.
