Westwatch

Image The Westwatch Tower is an unimpressive structure that was originally put up roughly a mile west of Sunberth, though the reasons for the tower have long faded. The tower itself is fairly short in height, thus making it useless for scanning far over the horizon. The Westwatch Tower is best known for being the twin sister to the Southwatch Tower, which is just like this tower except for location moved to the southern edge of Syliras. In either tower there is a secret passage that runs underneath the ground, connected both the twin sister towers, and even branching off to a few hidden and unidentified locations within the city itself. The use of these tunnels, when used by those who truly know of them, where they lead, and know how not to get lost in the darkness, can help dozens of men seem to disappear from the city in mere hours.

The truth behind the towers in lost to most, except those who call themselves the "Night Eyes" of Sunberth. To Sunberth, the Night Eyes is no more than a group of hoodlums and thieves banding together for protection, but it's so much more than that. Infiltrating the Night Eyes is nearly impossible, as joining their ranks is equally as difficult. The Two Leaders of the Night Eyes, Raven and Crow, must both agree to allow anyone into even the lowest, most untrustworthy ranks of the Night Eyes. The Night Eyes, when seen for what it really is, is the second of three primary combatants fighting for Sunberth turf and power. The Night Eyes, unlike Robern and his method of fear and collecting severe taxes, prefer to steal anything and everything, keeping a firm grip on important allies that can help them, protect them, or be used by them.

Members of the Night Eyes cannot be identified by any marks, clothing, or symbolic appearance. Line up the Night Eyes among civilians and you'll never be able to tell them apart. The Night Eyes have proven themselves to be a serious challenger for Robern and his Daggerhands as they have mastered their own language, comprised of original sign language for silence, and even a full alphabet of words for when whispering is safe, and even a system of cryptic writing that is nearly impossible to crack.

NPCs

Raven

Image There's very little information known about crow except that she's an Inarta girl with light fingers and lighter footfalls. As far as anyone knows, she was born in Syliras and came to Sunberth as a young woman following a lover (rumored to be Crow). According to Raven herself, she was bred to take Sunberth and change it for the better, that these streets ran in her blood, and without a doubt she proved she had what it took to survive here. She's told tales that she and her lover killed a Syliran knight, and even ran to Ravok where they caused more chaos than even Rhysol himself could stand, but these tales were hardly believable.

But of course, everything anybody knows about her is from her own mouth, leaving room for speculation and disbelief. Her story often seems to change, thus making it impossible to detect when she is speaking in truth. Her tales range from 'Probable' to 'Unbelievable', and because of this there exists several theories, such as everything she tells about herself is false, or that they are in fact true. Others even think that it's an artistic blend of lies and truth so that she can tell her story without the fear of ever being found out. Regardless, it is truly unknown where she is from, how she arrived in Sunberth, what her relationship to Crow is, or how she has survived so well in these brutal streets.

Crow

Image Much like Raven, Crow also is very mysterious of a person, which is a necessary attribute to be part of the Night Eyes. He is a Human, or at least something that appears human and generic at the same time, yet he's known for telling a story about himself that never changes, yet because of Raven's constant shifting dialogue, is often believed to be a blatant lie. The two leaders, Raven and Crow, are definitely a team to be messed with as they are both young, healthy, and incredible thieves to the core. Most of all though, they both hate Robern and the control he's trying to take over Sunberth, and they are more than willing to get the city under their own thumb to refuse him.

Crow is known for being less into the petty theft and selling of hot merchandise and more into the sell of drugs. Within the Night Eyes, he leads his own little group of drug dealers, people who obtain the goods, other who sell them, and possibly the most important of all, those who watch the backs of the others.

Bad News Everybody. School is picking up, Exams are beginning to happen, homework is growing time consuming, I may soon be evicted from my apartment, I'm dealing with severe and physical fights among several of my best friends, and I can't seem to find a time to get much needed sleep. I'm terribly sorry, but don't expect to see much of me for a long while.
