An Evening Roam (Bob Barton)

Postby Cass on July 13th, 2011, 3:29 am

Cass blinked and leaned back a bit when Bob held out his hand. It took Cass a long moment to remember that it was some kind of greeting humans used. She remembered Darian using such a gesture every now and then to others he did and did not know. Slowly she reached out with her own black gloved hand and cvarefully took his hand with her own. "Erm, good to meet you." Cass shook his hand quickly before pulling her arm back. "I'm..." She paused, thinking back to how Darian warned her not to expose herself too much in Sunberth. "...I'm Joyce." Better safe than sorry. "Well these streets are interesting to explore." Cass glanced back at the crowd. Who knew that a small group of females could attract so much attention? "B-But if you want I'll let you...erm, escort me home."
Because I'm a Whedonite....

Spike: If every vampire who said he was at the Crucifixion was actually there it would've been like Woodstock. I was at Woodstock. I fed off a flower person and I spent six hours watching my hand move.

An Evening Roam (Bob Barton)

Postby Bob Barton on July 13th, 2011, 4:56 am

Bob saw how hesitant Joyce was to introduce herself and tried to comfort her from her ordeal. He laughed a little "Its not a problem to forget your manners and name after that horrible experience. I know I would, or worse." Some djed escaped along with his words as it went over to Joyce to try and settle down her emotions as well as calm her. Bob found Joyce making a remark about wanting to explore more and looking back at the crowd. "Well, if you still want to look around I don't mind. Maybe I can find something interesting as well."

Cass began to feel a lot calmer. She didn't know why but she was also relieved that Bob bought her lie about her name. She smiled a bit, glad that she was able to keep pulling off her disguise. "Well that experience wasn't exactly nice but...there are worse things." And she knew so. But Cass decided to keep those little fun facts to herself. At least, for now. Bob didn't seem like a threat to her at all or act like he would betray her. Maybe she found someone else in this huge world she could trust. She perked up a tiny bit when Bob agreed to explore Sunberth with her a bit more. "I've only explored a little bit of this city. I want to see everything before I possibly move on."

An Evening Roam (Bob Barton)

Bob had fight back a chuckle which was about to leave his throat. See everything? This is Sunberth, some things are not for seeing if you want to live to see another day. He is going to have to try and lead Joyce to some of the "safer" spots or else her inquisitiveness might land them into some trouble.

Bob thumbed behind "Well, if you want we can visit Tall Johnny's again. I just cam from there but having a few games is always fun." then he pointed with his cane down the path they were on "...Or we could go to the Pig's Foot for a few drinks?" Then he paused and wondered if he should suggest the last spot he was thinking off. That place is definitely somewhere everyone should see if its Sunberth you are looking for, or at least what the people had told Bob. Sighing he decided to suggest it, but hopefully she will pick up that today was not the right time to get there. "You know...I have been told that the Slag Heap Fire is a sight to see in Sunberth. But its nicer if you have more friends with you to see something like that don't you think? With the two of us, it will just be a waste."
