Sarulean's Introduction

Postby Sarulean Ciam on January 7th, 2010, 6:02 pm

Hello everyone, I've recently stumbled upon this world of Mizahar and I find it to be quite amazing already. Last night I stayed up late and actually read up on as much of the Lore as I could. From the history to the races and everything. I found it all quite interesting.

Anywho, I'm Aedan, or Sarulean around these parts now. I've been roleplaying for years. I've played countless IRC-based roleplay games and Forum-based roleplay games.. which have become my very favorite to play. I stumbled upon Mizahar last night when I was browsing the internet bored out of my mind. Decided to find a new roleplay community, and now I am here. Hehe. My RP style is more along the lines of playing characters who have major flaws, who are quite detestable.. just generally 'bad' characters. They've always been my favorite to play, and I suppose playing them for so long has just allowed me to specialise in that one form of roleplay the most.

When I'm not writing to roleplay, I find myself writing dark themed poetry. I'm a published poet, and can usually always find time to write. I myself have nothing I dislike writing about really, the only time I find myself hating to write, are the times when I 'have' to write something. (Problem with authority maybe? I dunno. Hehe.) My most favorite thing about Mizahar so far is the history and lore of it all. It's what sparked my interest and made me stay. It's all very fantastic. I've not become frustrated with Mizahar thus far, but, I've still not started on my character sheet.. so.. fingers are crossed hehe. If anything, I would like to find a sense of community and friendship here while playing Mizahar. There's nothing like making friends who enjoy the same game as you. It makes the experience all that much more enjoyable.

Anyway, if you decided to read all of that: Thanks! Hehe. I hope to stay here a long time, and I hope to call this place one of my internet homes hehe. Cheers,

-Aedan

Greetings Aedan and welcome to Mizahar!
I am Kamalia Timandre of the Konti, but you can also call me Samantha. We are glad to have you as a part of our family! Mizahar is a haven for writers and casual roleplayers alike. The founders, world designers and the players contribute to it by writing and expanding the lore. The good thing about Mizahar is that we've avoided using the established races like the elves, the dwarves and so forth, yet the storytellers have managed to create astoundingly rich cultures and a beautiful world!

I cannot wait to read your character concept! :)

Well met and welcome! It's always nice to see an enthusiastic new player who likes the game for the lore first and foremost. Brownie points there! And thanks... joining Mizahar is like joining a large extended family. We're here through thick and thin. :)

Welcome again!

You also get bonus points because you're already published ... at least from me. I'm still aiming towards this goal and thus know how frustrating it can be to write nothing because you 'have' to write! Anyway, you'll definitely find the community and friendships you are searching for. :)

An official welcome, outside of chat. And I even managed to look up the Drykas, very cool.

Hey there! Nice to see an experienced Roleplayer here.

Since no one else has said it, feel free to ask if you need help with anything. Although that doesn't seem likely anytime soon. :)
