ImageDespite the rather limited selection of materials natural to the Sea of Grass, the Drykas are well known for their ability to produce garments that are both stylish, and comfortable. Their clothing is treated so as to allow quicker stain removal. Drykas tailors often make use of a modified backstitch that is called a “grassland stitch” for the seams of clothing, providing a strong but simple seam.

A "reinforced tether stitch" is also home to the Drykas tailors - a stitch that pins a thin strip of leather in between the thread and fabric for an added strength on garment seams.

All inventory is a not only a collection of what is made at the Threaded Hide, but of what is made from other Drykas pavilions, along with some specialty items depending on the family.

Clothing and bolts of cloth cover collapsing tables, organized three times, by material, article, and color. On the opposite side, shades of brown speckle the table tops and hanging display mounts. Even the structure of the pavilion itself has been modified, with several extensions added to support an entire storefront between both pavilian entrances. The poles that support the structure are linked with a series of extra poles from which clothing can be hung.

Behind the front of shop, two rooms have been reserved for taking measurements, weaving and sewing. The center pieces of both rooms are simple stools, upon which those being measured stand. Collapsing tables line the walls of both rooms, providing stable platforms upon which clothing is sewn. Similarly in the Heidecraft pavilian, a measurement stool sits just left of numerous tables, drying racks, and shelves for sheets of leather that are all organized by thickness, quality, and colour.

NPCs

The two most skilled craft families share a store front together - the Wovengrass family cares for the cloth, wool and thread while the adjacent Heidecraft family harvests, stains, and preserves leather for the use in reinforcing clothing seams and serving as a shell for more protective boots, bags, gloves, bracers, etc.

Ahna is a naturally timid woman but prides herself in her ability to figure out and provide exactly what her customers want

History: Emphae is the undisputed matriarch of the Wovengrass pavillion, known for keeping the many generations beneath her in tow. She is a beloved member of the Drykas society, known for her colourful tales and rich sense of humour and it's not strange to find people milling about her side of the tent just to lap up the stories she regales. She is a font of knowledge when it comes to her craft and has taught both her daughter and granddaughter the tricks of the trade yet shows no signs of stepping away from the work she loves

Shauna Wovengrass
Name: Shauna Wovengrass
Age: 17
PoB: Endrykas
Skills: Drawing – 45, Mathematics - 40, Sewing – 40, Weaving - 40, Dyeing - 35, Planning – 30

Ethanus Heidecraft
Name: E'thanus Heidecraft
Age: 44
PoB: Endrykas
Skills: Tanning - 70, Leatherworking - 65, Planning - 60, Mathematics- 50, Organization - 50, Sewing – 45
History: E'thanus is a man desperate to keep his family's livelihood going. As the lone survivor of the Djed Storm of 512 and the pox that followed, he's taken a vested interest in training his children, Ruthna and Tenaras, to take over when his time comes to return to the Web. He's a stern man of few words yet has endless patience for those who genuinely strive to better themselves. He's profound when he does speak but generally leaves his more sociable children in charge of dealing with customers, preferring to stick to his work.

Ruthna Heidecraft
Name: Ruthna Heidecraft
Age: 24
PoB: Endrykas
Skills: Tanning - 55, Dyeing - 50, Negotiation - 45, Sewing - 45, Organisation - 40, Subterfuge – 40
History: Shrewd and cynical, it is well known that Ruthna is the dark to her older brother's light. She is a hard woman to get a bargain from since she has no qualms twisting words and has dressed down plenty of people during her negotiations. She'd rather not deal with customers, preferring to focus on her trade like her father, but often steps in when it becomes clear that her brother is being a bit too easy in his manner. Ruthna has so far dodged the few suitors that have come her way, choosing to remain deeply loyal to her father and his wishes and she seems to have no qualms putting her trade before marriage

Tenaras Heidecraft
Name: Tenaras Heidecraft
Age: 26
PoB: Endrykas
Skills: Cobbling - 55, Storytelling – 50, Leatherworking - 45, Tanning – 40, Dyeing - 40, Rhetoric – 30
History: Tenaras is a jovial soul with two wives, three children and not an apparent care in the world. As a man who loves to talk, it's hardly difficult to get him off on a tangent or distract him into offering lower deals. He's the friendliest of the Heidecrafts working at the Threaded Hide and, although he may seem too inclined to have a chat, he is dedicated to his family and his trade.
