Cassandra eyed the quiver he'd let fall to the ground, then bent down, took it and put it on her, over her shoulder. Then she took the offered bow back and went to retrieve the three he'd shot. Then she put two of the arrows in the quiver and knocked the remaining one onto the bow.
"This is how you place the arrow, you did that right. And you pull it gently, like so.." And she showed him the points she made, as she continued; "You aim carefully, looking where the arrow points. Then you take a breath, and realease it gently, with the arrow." And she did as she had told him, letting the arrow fly, but hitting the lower right bale of hay.

"That's the theory. But one need practise too. Another try?"
Merely wanting to learn how to teach.. Yep, that was it. She eyed him, for the first time actually paying attention to him, instead of just trying to see how big a threat he was, or see his basics, like haircolor, length and weight. She caught herself, but still wanted to go on, so she looked at his face, trying to make eyecontact. She told herself it was merely to try to improve her social skills, surely she would need it in the future.

As Cassandra bent down, he looked abit disappointed. What poor manners he had, just dropping the quiver like that. And ontop of that, he made no move to assist her in it. He let out a small sigh for himself. "My apologies, miss Marks.", he said as he looked away slightly. "My manners seem to be rather crude still."

He looked back to Cassandra as she asked him if he wanted another try, seeming alittle reluctant to answer. "I can if you would like me to, miss Marks. Although I-..". He paused for a brief moment to make a low, polite cough before continuing, "... I don't quite understand how one aim with this.. Bow-thing.".

He nodded assuringly. Ofcourse he couldn't refuse even if he'd prefer to do so. As Cassandra tried to make eye contact, which she succeeded in for a brief moment. His eyes were quite clear blue, looking at her in a perhaps slightly different way than many other people look at eachother. Although, he quickly broke the eye contact as he looked up to the sky, wiggling his nose briefly.

She disregarded his apology, it made no difference to her either way, nor did his droping of the quiver. She wasn't one to care about the little unimportant things like that. She did nod however, as in accepting the apology, as that's the polite thing to do, even if she didn't care about the supposed affront.

"You aim it by looking where the arrow is pointing. It will fly where it points, but you must practise to learn to count in wind, both resisting and aiding, as well as course-altering. It's only the first and second step to be interested and learn the theory."

She looked at him, holding out the bow to him, and adding an arrow to it, as he'd need an arrow to shoot.

Roy sighed gently before once again accepting the bow with the arrow to it, giving a slight smile before turning to aim at the target. Pulling the string back and carefully aimed as well as he could, even though he haven't quite understood how to aim properly. He let go of the arrow, which flew towards the target, only barely hitting the middle-right edge of it however.

"Well, that shot make more sense.", he said to her with a slight smile once more as he offered the bow back. Moving as if he would go and fetch 'his' arrow himself. "I'd rather watch you and learn that way, however. I find that this would be an easier way of learning for me. Atleast for now. Not to mention I did not mean to intrude."

Cass watched him shoot the arrow and took the bow when he gave it back. As he went to get his arrow, she wondered if he'd get the one she'd shot earlier. She figured he was an odd sort, and decided to ask him to, one never knows.
"Can you give me both arrows? ... please?"

Wow, she's being civilized, even polite. Isn't that nice? She stretched a bit as she waited for him to get back, as she couldn't shoot when he was there, at least not without ptentially harming, maye killing, him.

"What can you do, then? Surely training together would be better than training separately?"
Now, this wasn't her being friendly, this actually was because it was better being two, in some things; like swordfighting.

"Certainly, miss Marks.", he said as he plucked both arrows out from the target carefully before walking over to Cassandra, offering the arrows to her with a slight smile.
"Well, it depends on what you train, I believe. Archery from what little I know tend to be easier to train as one archer for each target. Granted, I can well be wrong, but I believe that is the case in this specific training.", he said as he turned his gaze to the target, nodding slightly as if assuring himself of him being right.
"Things like swords are better suited for two, however. So indeed, some types of training is quite more effective with two doing it together. But I get the feeling you are quite the stubborn one, are you not?", he said as he looked at her, shortly after letting out a polite cough. "Which by no means need to mean something bad, ofcourse. Do you prefer training with people rather than doing so by your own, then?"

Cass eyed him as he spoke, and noticed he didn't answer her question. She found this very odd indeed and decided to ask him about it, as well as reply to the rest of his jabbering. "Yes, archery is easier to train if all parties have a bow of their own, with targets and arrows to go with it, but that was not the question I asked firstly, and not what I meant with the second question either. I'm stuborn only when I'm right, which is most of the time. I prefer whatever is best to achieve the best results."

She might have sounded like her regular cold self, but she didn't need a lecture she already knew, and found it timewasteing to listen to it again. She took the arrows and put them in the quiver, then turned and started to walk away. " Wait here."

It was only about ten chimes before she returned, carrying a box and two sticks with small cushions on one end. She put the box and pillow down by the empty box and looked over to Roy, or looked around for him if he'd left. If he was still there, she'd say: "Pick your weapon" and motion towards the open box which contained 2 wooden training weapons of the following kinds; 2 handed club, doublebladed axe, halfspear, heavy mace, longspear, quarterstaff, shield (large), sickle, war axe. It also contains 4 wooden training weapons of the following kinds: battle axe, club, dagger, doublebladed dagger, handaxe, kama, knife, light mace, longsword, nunchaku, sap, short sword, rapier. Lastly, it also contains two pairs of heavily cushioned boxing gloves and two pairs of full padded training armor, which covers torso and head(separate padded helmet.

As asked of him, he stood his ground until Cassandra returned. He watched the box for a small moment before walking over to it and carefully searched the box.
"I guess I misunderstood your questions, then.", he said as he continued to search the box for a short while longer before taking out one of the 'longspears' in the box. "Something like this would be my prefered weapon if I had to use one, but I am not too bad with swords, either. That's about it. And what little I learned with your bow, earlier. I see my words brought some annoyance though, which I apologize for.", he said as he bowed his head slightly in apology.
"As would be obvious by now, I am not too used to talk to.. Others.", he continued. "But enough of my time-wasting blabbering, right? Does this answer your question?"

Cassandra studied the way he moved while he walked and talked, then picked up the other wooden training longspear. She examined it a moment before putting it down, then reaching down and picking up a protective padded set, then throwing it to Roy. Then she bent down again and retrieved the other protective padded set and out it on, before picking up the spear again, expecting Roy to put on the set she'd thrown at him.
"Teach me."

Roy caught the set thrown to him, and studied it for a short while before putting the wooden spear down to put the padded set carefully and thoroughly before picking up the spear once more and somewhat reluctantly looked up to look at Cassandra's face. Not at all because he thought she was hideous or scary looking, simply because he was uncomfortable with risking eye-contact. Quite a bad trait for someone interested in becoming a knight, however.
"Very well.. If you'd like, I could give you some pointers. But first, what do you know of using spears such as this? Might help me not repeating something you already know, after all.", he said with a slight smirk which faded almost as quickly as it came to his face. "No need to teach what one already know, correct?"
