She thought about it, what did she know about spears? She eyed the spear for a moment.
"I know the sharp end is best placed in your enemy and not yourself, but that's obvious. I've seen people use spears, they mostly use both hands, but sometimes only one hand to use the free one to grab the opponent's spear and try to disarm him or hinder the use of his weapon. It's a meele weapon, but only in open areas, I suppose, and not useable in close meele. Can be thrown, I suppose, but unwieldy and not a good idea, but acceptable in desperate situations. That's what I guess."
She eyed him attentively. This was important, this was something she needed to know. She replayed her memories of her grandfather using a spear, but the memories were few and hard to recollect properly. She hoped she'd made correct assumptions about the weapon, but was fairly sure she had. It seemed basic to her, and she was sure there was much more to it, or that it was much harder in practice, like the bow.
