Ezriel awkwardly guided his ship into the port of Zeltiva, a smile on his face. He had managed to pull into the docks without hitting anything, far better then he had done at the last port. He was hopeless out of practice when it came to docking, as he had never had to sail on his own before. The only other one with him was a passenger he had picked up in Mura a few tendays ago. Oh she was great company but was horrible at the sails and so their trip had gone slowly, Ezriel having to remember all that his pod used to do to get them to their destinations.

Paying the dock fee's Ezriel escorted his passenger off his ship before tieing up to the dock and going back on board. Collecting his important items he locked up the sole cabin on board and wandered down. Smiling and taking a big breath he walked up the docks and into the city. This visit would hopefully be short and useful, but if not, oh well. Life would go on either way.

Talal stood at the wheel of his wave-battered Casinor, absolutely drenched. It had been a rough ride into the city with heavy rain and the waves pounding his ship. But Talal managed to guide the boat into Zeltiva's dock without sinking. The jewel-encrusted axe was bound tightly to his waist to make sure he didn't lose it during the journey.

As Talal sailed into the dock, he narrowly missed another boat attempting to get the same space as him. Talal turned towards the other boat's captain and said, "I believe I got here first so I'll be taking this space." As if to seal the deal, he smiled at the captain. But that wasn't an ordinary smile. It was one as if to say move on. And the other captain did exactly that. Talal guided the Casinor into the spot, threw down the anchor and got off. He breathed in the cool sea air and then went off on his quest.
"We can do this two ways. The bad way or the worse way."

1st day of winter, 512AV (Flashback)

As Fiera bounded along the well worn track in her cougar form, she flared her nostrils and breathed in deeply. She had been travelling along the Mirahil Pass for nigh on two days but she still could not become accustomed to the scarce oxygen in such high altitudes. Apart from attempting to inhale more oxygen, Fiera was also scenting the air for any trace of beings in the area. She was planning of changing into her human form now and, although she didn’t mind being seen in the nude, knew that any other race would be affronted.
As she smelled no one but her Seme horse, Fire – who had been following Fiera - near her she dropped the large bag she was holding in her jaws and transformed into a human. Once she was fully dressed she scrambled down the rocky slop towards the grand buildings of Zeltiva. Upon reaching the city, Fiera mounted and trotted down the road in search of a good stable for her horse, then she would go to the library. Zeltiva opened so many doorways for her, and nothing else would quench her thirst for knowledge.

Rolling Waves [Entrance Thread]

47th day, Winter 511 AV

Emily looked toward the sky as rays of sunlight pierced through her vision. A hand moves to rub at them before she looks out to the cool sea. A smile falls upon her lips before the merchant spoke, pulling her from her daze. "Is this what you are looking for?" The man with dark skin spoke in an accent she could barely understand. She nodded, though, handing the man the required money. It was a well made tent, completing the supplies she needed for the journey she was about to embark upon.

The huntress was tired from days of traveling by foot in the bitterness of winter. She had plans on visiting Konti island. She didn't have any important business there. She simply found it curious. She had traveled over much of Sylira, but hadn't quite made it over to either of the islands yet. After placing and strapping the bundled tent upon her newly acquired horse she happily named Serena, Emily climbed atop the saddle and began her search for a place to spend the day and night. She would fill her belly, sleep in a comfortable bed, and leave for the woods in the morning at first light.

A smile would rest gently upon Emily's smooth, clean face. She did spend a lot of time in the wilderness but somehow managed to keep at least her face in decent shape. The woman's body moved back and forth with each step as the steed carried her down the streets of Zeltiva through the lively crowds. The horse was large, even for its breed, but Emily got a good deal, as her charming smile always did. Golden brown spots seemed to be woven into the colorsplash's coat while a long white mane rested upon its head. Emily was very proud to have found this breed within this lovely city. She made a mental note to come again in the near future.

As Agatha swam through the cold, blue channel she looked about for a good place to live during her stay at Zeltiva, the city of knowledge. She stopped and stood in the underwater sand. She soon started to swim again, and when she came to the border of ships she stopped again, looking for fishing hooks. Finding none she swam towards the dock. When she reached it she kept swimming under it. She soon found a nice place and after many tries tied down all her belongings so they didn't float away. She then went to explore the sea bottom.

[Entrance] The Rolling Waves

Postby Idue on February 2nd, 2012, 12:15 am

82nd day of Winter

What was there to say about Idue's entrance to Zeltiva? The Benshira entered the city with his back and weapons stuck through his sash. He admired the surroundings for a moment, but headed further into the city. He had given up his search for his mother. Now it was time to start a new life in a new city. Maybe here he could live with Purity that Yahal preached for. Hopefully, but by now Idue had his doubts.

60 Winter 511
The Docks of Zeltiva

A still figure wearing a black hooded cloak stood silently on the deck of the merchant ship Fajita as it approached one of the piers. It had been more than a century since he had last been here. He couldn't remember what body that was. The body he was now occupying had already been old when he had taken it, but the original occupant had kept it in good working order. He would not need a new one soon. The ship docked and the quiet man disembarked. Anselm the Seer had returned.

Postby Eskin on February 12th, 2012, 4:12 pm

25th Winter 511 AV
Eskin walked slowly onto the dock, trying to recover his 'land legs' as some of the sailors had called them. He had sent a letter ahead to the housing authority from Mura, so there should be a house ready for him not too far from the university. He had decided to stop there first, then go to the university's library and begin his research anew. He hoped that perhaps in Zeltiva's huge compendium of knowledge he might find what he was looking for, some way to bring him back to a living body.
