She was surely a strange one. Nowa hadn't talked to as many girls as he had boys, but only because they were so much harder to understand. No amount of staring at her aura would help him figure this out, though he stopped that a while ago.
Nowa wasn't quite sure how to accept her hand as she held it out, it was such an odd gesture. Was he supposed to smell it like a cat? His nose wouldn't smell anything odd. After staring a bit, he moved himself under the hand, letting it sit on his shoulder. turning around, he made his way forward a bit, he wasn't sure how well she'd walk, given this odd means of assistance.
It started slow, as both of them had things to get used to, but as they made progress it picked up speed. At one point, he looked back to catch her jumping in an odd manor. Smiles and sunshine, key causes to her strange behavior. He'd need to remember to visit her on sunny days, if he was hoping for food. He'd just try and keep a distance, no more random grabbing he hoped.
At one point, a man carrying some barrel of something walked right in the way, as he stopped, she went and spun about and around. He tried to recreate her steps after the man passed, it wasn't easy. Such a movement could come in handy, tough. Maybe there was something to her odd movements after all.
It took a while, but they got there. "Oh thank you for escorting me all the way here. You are quite the little gentleman." Nowa's reply was a curious stare, he heard all sorts of new words there. He wasn't sure how to put them all together. As he attempted to sort them out, her face managed to sneak right up to his, and touch him. He jumped back in light shock, followed by a short glare, before giving up on it as she mentioned the food.
He followed her inside with little delay, he always had a mind for food. He didn't even say anything in reply, but his body language gave away his excitement. He almost ran ahead of her, staying very close by. Whatever he wanted was quite a list. He still made efforts to avoid other people, however, shying close to Iliana whenever they were near. He tried to follow her lead, he wasn't sure where they kept all the food. |
