Physical Description
Nowa is a Raven, first and foremost. He fits the common descriptions of such, black feathers with a blue tint in the light. White ring of feathers around it's neck, but hidden underneath his other feathers. He is a touch small, however, at 60 cm long, and only 1 kg in weight. In fact, nothing notable makes his animal appearance stick out at all. His call tends to come out as a "Cra-woo!"
However, his human counterpart does stick out a bit, but just a bit. He's young, like his bird self. Maybe around six and a half. His skin is rather pale, like he never gets any sun. His hair is always a mess, but the SAME mess, he fusses with it when he can't think of anything better to do. His eyes are strangely dark, though gold, they are dark enough to mistake for brown. His nose is somewhat hooked, and his fingernails and toenails try and do the same if they were to grow out. His hair matches the color of his feathers, with a few stray white strands somewhere around the front, hidden under the others. He isn't lean, but doesn't hold a strong build either. He sits around 3'6" tall, and around 45 lbs. He also has a surprisingly deep voice.

Character Concept
Personality Merits/Flaws: Nowa is very short-sighted. He doesn't think of the long-term effects of his actions, and as such it takes him longer to learn of the negative consequences of his actions. He loves to communicate, however. If he can get things by just talking, he will. He rather enjoys cooked foods, and is driven to learn from habit more then anything.
Ethics: Don't waste food, learn when you can, avoid fighting when you can do better, (or make someone else do it.)

Character History
Pre-Creation: Nowa was found early in life, shifting not too long after leaving his nest to save him the effort of flying to pick up some food left out on a fence. He was kidnapped and taken into the shelter of a very strange man Out of little more then curiosity alone, the man taught Nowa language and how to 'behave himself.' The bird often replied with "No Way!" To his amusement, the bird even said it to him while a bird, rather then the human counterpart. As the bird, however, it came out as "noWa!" So, he named the bird Nowa.
The strange man was a craftsman, who often worked with animals. Nowa was the first Kelvic he had ever encountered before, however. He decided he wanted to know how much the bird could learn, so he even taught it to read. He never taught Nowa to write, but even reading was a remarkable feat, that Nowa learned quickly in order to get food.
The man continued to marvel at the intelligence of Nowa, and bought a book on Auristics, forcing the bird to learn how to use that in order to earn it's food. Nowa, being the intelligent bird it was, learned that life would continuously get harder for him, the more he DID learn. As much as he enjoyed having someone who cared for him, he couldn't stand the idea of being forced to learn his whole life just for the sake of food... so he learned about all the locks and gates, doors, and windows of his home. Once he found his chance, he escaped.
Living on his own, Nowa learned to hunt once again, quickly as it was in his very nature. Though, unlike many of his kind, he rather disliked all the food he found in the wild, having grown to the tastes of his master's prepared meals for so long. He swiftly took to looting people's meals in the city he had been raised in, Alvadas. People learned to hide their food, but with his skill in Auristics, he was much better at finding it then they had anticipated. As they hid it better, he found it better. As they made it more secure, his ability to get to it improved. He even wound up getting lock-picking tools so that he could get to even more prepared foods. He picked up learning some Nari from some of the inhabitants of the city who tend to scream or call out to him.
