61st day of Fall 511 AV

Sunberth was in chaos! More chaos that it usually was in and the strange part was Bob could actually tell the difference. "It is all that Crimson's fault!" he yelled at Jinsen angrily. Did his stupid plan actually work? It escalated so badly until even most the merchants were gone. No one would be stupid enough to stay in Sunberth now actually and Bob really doubted that Killroy's would be safe enough for him. That man had all sorts of trouble lately and Bob wondered if he could keep himself together let alone his business in order. Not willing to risk it Bob left in the morning to see what he could do for himself. He could try shopping but everything was wayyyyyy to overpriced. Some would even cost him his life just carrying it around if moving about Sunberth now was not suicidal enough unless you were smart enough to hide around the backalleys and half empty paths to spot trouble before trouble spots you.

After a while, Bob found himself trapped somewhere with nowhere else to go and it was even worse because he was lost. "Hell Jinsen, where do we go to now?" He needed a place that had no Sun's Birth or Daggerhands which would be able to provide him some safety until he can sneak around at night. "I know..." remembering some of his friends and tried to recall the places that they had told him before they would be in case he wanted to visit for business or pleasure though its normally the latter because mixing your friends in with work does not end well. Looking past both sides of the alleyway Bob tried to listen in on the sounds of the fighting in the end deciding to take the one with less. It did not mean he did not take proper precautions and he hid around the mess littered around the street. Not the bodies because no one was desperate enough to be found looting it but the garbage. Even with the sense of urgency Bob found himself taking whiff's of the garbage which even Jinsen did not dare go near. "What? I thought you liked this sort of thing" surprised that he found himself trying to convince the dog about it.

Bob made quick stops from pile to pile savoring the unique fragrance that each one had. Why did they smell so good? Lucky Jinsen was with him because he was so caught up with it that he did not notice that some of the gangs were getting close by until the dog started growling. Bob peeped from behind the garbage he was hidden behind and cursed "oh, shyke" because this looks like a big fight. "Let's get out of here Jinsen. Quietly" he whispered to the dog and started crawling on all fours leading it to follow him until he reached the end where he heard shouts. They were already fighting and there was no way Bob wanted to get dragged into that so he grabbed on Jinsen's leash and pulled it away with him until he reached the Crimson Edge camp.

Finally he made his way to the camp without much problem and took a seat near one of the tents. "Hello?" Did everyone leave with the rest of the merchants already? Bob thought better of them that they would have more balls than that. That Crimson guy from a few days back seemed to love the idea of killing Daggerhands and Sun's Birth but someone like Cade would be less picky of his victims.

I demand your supply! (Cade & Eryss)

[Ever since one of his last sojourns through the southern woods Eryss had toyed with the idea of creating Shields to bolster the defences of the Crimson Edge encampment but as this was only a temporary base he was also reluctant to do so. After all if everything went according to plan he foresaw the group moving into more prestigious surroundings in the near future, some place where he could conspire in a room rather than under a tent anyways, but even on that note the idea interested him if nothing else. The Crimson Edge camp wasn’t that big, it was easy to miss entirely actually, one would have expected the camp of a band that had this type of potential to be somewhat larger but all in due time and the several tents that were set up belonged to each of the members in the group.]

[Lost in his own thoughts Eryss was contemplating the whether or not to both with all of this. He hadn’t even noticed that Bob and his Dog had entered until he heard the call of Hello though when he did his mind returned to the present and he turned his head so that he could look back through the camp and move in the direction the voice had come from. As he rounded one of the tents Eryss would have seen Bob sitting down and narrowed his eyes beneath the hood he used to cover his features, he hadn’t made any attempt to conceal himself Bob shouldn’t have had much trouble seeing him, while assessing the smaller man and the animal he’d brought with him. Bob had a different dog today that was easily recognizable.]

[At last Eryss would speak clearly, his words easily clearly meant for Bob, and say...”Well now if it isn’t my murderous accomplice. You’ve come right on time.”...there was something about the statement that might have struck Bob as wrong though Eryss was known to be quite the malicious character and prone to saying things that sounded callous offhandedly. Once he’d delivered his remark Eryss would raise his right hand in a grand gesture, sweeping it high and twisting it at the wrist so that Bob could see his palm, where a minute amount of res could be seen forming. Sculpting itself into a small gaseous sphere the res would hover there an inch above Eryss hand before he finished his last statement with...”I was in need of a good moving target.”...which may have given Bob some indication of what was about to happen next.]

[Eyes had wandered over towards the dog that Bob had brought with him as well, Eryss was quite careful after all and he wanted to see how it would react to this display, though soon they returned to Bob himself before the Mage swung his arm ahead like he was tossing a ball at the small man and hurled the small gaseous sphere on its way. It would travel quickly and with a high amount of accuracy, as Eryss had become quite adept at the manipulation and control of the res he made, and when it was near Bob it would become readily apparent the Mage hadn’t targeted him at all but thrown his creation between him and the dog. Transmuting the majority of the res into a condensed air Eryss would have saved a little more than a pinheads worth of res at the center of the sphere which he ignited into fire and used to force the air outwards in a small expulsion. Given its small size, maybe as large as an apple, the air from the sphere likely would have struck Bob and his canine hard enough to blow their hair back when it shot out in all directions and though it was not harmful Eryss himself had a good and brief chuckle over everything.]

[Nodding his head once the Mage seemed please and he would have declared...”Another success. You can imagine that a larger sphere could blow a man over or backwards and that a larger one still could upend a cart due to the strength of the concussion.”...he didn’t assume that any of this would interest Bob though Eryss was obviously pleased with the results. When everything was done Eryss, still standing well enough away from Bob, would have continued by saying...”Merchants seem to be banned from Sunberth. Perhaps you fancy yourself well enough to take a trip onto the road with me and...”...there was a pause as Eryss looked around before continuing...”...Cade. If only the Barbarian was as punctual as an unexpected guest.”...apparently Eryss was in a pleasant mood today because he offered a shrug of his shoulders after mentioning Cade’s name almost as though he was expecting the man to show up as if he were waiting for his own introduction.]

I demand your supply! (Cade & Eryss)

Postby Cade on December 2nd, 2011, 4:50 am

Just as if he was summoned Cade appeared from his tent adjusting his pants and belt buckle with his bare chest exposed to the world with every scar visible to those that were looking. The barbarian turned his attention back to the tent and the company he had with in. " Stay there.........and whats the word?..... 'contemplate' your performance for frek sakes." He growled obviously not satisfied with his slave, Darcy, a woman he had saved from the malicious grasps of the daggerhand last season in stumble alley.

His glare then fell upon Eyrss "Listen mage, I would of been out here sooner if......." his meaty hand pointed back to the tent " IF THAT BITCH KNEW HOW TO FRAK LIKE A WHORE....... my seed would of never taken this long to fill her and I would of been out here sooner to enjoy both of yours company"

The barbarian was obviously agitated as he grabbed for his skin of mead and skulled a mouth full before placing his full attention on the two sitting at the camp. the savage's finger shook towards the evil mage "There better be bloodshed and profit today to sooth me out of this mood or else...." He drew his cleaver and wedged it into the wooden bench close to the fire and cooking pot " or I will be making Darcy soup tonight and frak the mizas she is worth on the market"

Cade looked over at the man who was short in stature "Oh and hi Bob!" he muttered the welcome focusing back onto Eryss who obviously had a plan for the day.

I demand your supply! (Cade & Eryss)

Of all the people that Bob could have run into today he had to run into Eryss who called him his "murderous accomplice? If that means that you exp..." Did Bob hear that right? A moving target at the right time? Then Bob saw the res which was being formed and knew what to expect even if Jinsen did not and only admired it like the stupid dog that it was. Eryss was lucky in the fact that Bob brought his own dog today instead of one of the better trained ones from the kennels but after finding out that he has been walking the dogs wrong all this time, he decided to do it the right way and better to do it with his own dog since it was going to stick with him for a long time. When Bob saw that Eryss was raising his hand for a throw he yelled at Jinsen to "run!" pointing to the direction at the dog's side as he leaped to the other in an attempt to escape the ball widening the gap so that it will hit the spot Eryss targeted unhindered. Did Bob appreciate that the attack was meant to be small? No, and neither did Jinsen who already ran...somewhere...leaving Bob to hide out at the side of one of the tents alone.

And Bob stuck at its side to keep the tent in between him and Eryss while Eryss started to laugh and talk about pushing aside a cart or a man which is "all well and good unless they already know" like Bob who decided he was not leaving his hiding spot until someone else came in case Eryss tried to surprise him again. As if someone was handing over to them a gift they have been asking for a familiar sight of a Cade suddenly came out of the tent angry as always. Bob quickly moved away from his hiding spot and stepped in close to the large myrian who he taught he can use as a shield for a while because "free and spoiled goods" which Bob knew was what Darcy was "is not good. We should go wenching again Cade. Bregas might have someone to keep your mind off her. I know that I need something to keep my mind off some horrible events too" which was what Eryss had to him already earning an angry glare from Bob who was thinking of what he should actually do as revenge. Obviously he had some plan with those banned merchants which Bob might be able to sabotage but that would not be too good for business entirely.

So Bob would have to rely on some cheap and petty method to get back at Eryss and normally he would but recently his hypnotism has been problematic lately causing bloody problems even at the most minute use but if he did not teach Eryss a lesson now he knew he would have to put up with more abuse in the future. So continuing his glare, Bob started to accumulate his res to his mouth as he started talking which as learned about hypnotism, it is just convincing someone about what you want as hard as possible. Each word he said when he told Eryss "you are going to have to help me find my dog again first before I do anything. While Jinsen might seem useless, you won't find that I am weaker than anyone else here you know?" was well crafted to coincide with the movements of his hand sweeping and twisting like he saw the mage doing earlier with his res. Yes, Bob was actually trying to make Eryss think that he was doing reimancy as well when he continued that "Jinsen might get into trouble being alone you know? Robbers...scum...lightning!"

At the mention of the last word, Bob sharply sent his hand down in a chop just as he sent the res forward towards Eryss much like the mage himself would when he did his lightning though Bob was for a hypnotic flash. Eryss would experience with his mind a quick bright flash of lightning before his eyes along with hot, searing air at his skin for a moment and the loud sound of thunder drumming in his ears made even more real as it was drawn from Bob's very own traumatic experience with another reimancer which he has been recalling for some time while as he build up to this point. Only problem was Bob forgot to omit the quick blow of impact that Eryss would also feel at his back just as he did when he slammed into the tree that time but hopefully Eryss would mistake it for something else or even a side effect. Overall for Bob the whole thing went as he wanted it to be even if he was a little bit shaken at the end when he remembered the whole thing and how much he is now afraid of lightning because of it.

If Bob wanted to make Eryss scared just as he was feeling now, he would have thrown in a little fear through the hypnotiem as well but no. All he wanted to do was prove a point that Eryss should lay off the abuse for the time being or Bob would have to get more serious. Hopefully it would not some to that because as Bob thought, the blood started to trickle down more and more from his mouth again due to the overgiving but fortunately he took that into account from the start. Doing his best to wipe it off and stop the flow he continued to tell them to "don't think I am being too bitter. If your attack can do this sort of damage to me, just think of what it can do to a sweet thing like Jinsen? I can count on you to help me with this since I prefer Jinsen at my side when I fight. Just as much as I enjoy Cade at my other" turning towards the myrian with a grin as if nothing had happened. And why not? To Cade eyes, all Bob did was attempt to pettily get back at Eryss for that blast of air since he was not on the receiving end of the hypnotism.
