All hail the 2011 Mizahar NaNoWriMo winners! And so, with November behind us, we gather to celebrate those who succeeded in posting 50,000 words on the in-character boards with a single character. The winner count frankly exceeded my expectations, or maybe I just underestimated the sheer number of people entering the contest. Throughout the month we posted 2,372,820 words on the IC boards for a total of 2,828,999 words across all boards, amounting to about 0.1% of NaNoWriMo's worldwide word count. Without further ado, here are the 13 winners of the main challenge. They'll receive their medals as soon as we decide on what it should look like. I'm also not terribly familiar with the side challenges, but those will be honored as well.
Thanks to everyone who participated, and also to those who didn't and still contributed to our extraordinary activity last month. Throughout December we're going to take a rest from frenzied writing to focus once more on insightful plots and polished words. ![]() |
