The Diamond of Kalea is located on Kalea's extreme west coast and called as such because its completely made of a crystalline substance called Skyglass. Home of the Alvina of the Stars, cultural mecca of knowledge seekers, and rife with Ethaefal, this remote city shimmers with its own unique light.

Lhavit's Winter Calendar

Following the trend from other cities, I welcome you to Lhavit’s first seasonal calendar! Below is a list of the most significant events that will be happening throughout the city this season. Feel free to incorporate them into your own threads, or talk to one of us moderators if you want a significant part in anything below.

Overview
Lhavit’s Winter’s are fairly mild, with no more than a blanket of snow covering the city about mid-way through. Occasionally The Sharai peak gets more due to the lack of skyglass structures. Food is rarely a worry, though fish becomes rather scarce as the pools near the foot of the peaks freeze over. Lhavit generally gets cut off from the outside world in mid-winter, as the passage up becomes too treacherous to climb.

• 1st – Winter begins
• 2nd – Job Faire begins
• 4th – The price of fish slowly rises
• 6th – Job Faire ends
• 12th – The fishing pools freeze over
• 38th – The first snows arrive
• 44th – Cake contest – residents come up with new idea for a special Midwinter Fest cake!
• 46th – Midwinter Festival
• 49th – The city becomes completely cut off from the rest of Mizahar
• 56th – An elk gets into the Okomo Villa
• 57th – An Okomo dies from an illness – Okomo Villa is put into quarantine
• 65th – Tain’s Studio holds an open gallery to showcase the city’s many artists
• 78th – The way up to the city becomes (barely) passable again
• 88th – Quarantine is lifted from the Okomo Villa
• 92nd – Aviakittis

Thread Goals for Winter

Below, we have listed four thread goals for the three months that make up the games Winter season. This gives you a chance at twelve individual threads for the season. If a player manages to complete all the goals before the Spring rolls in, then they get a medal!

Remember, you don’t need to complete a goal during the month it is listed in, by all means do one of January’s goals in December if you want to.You can be as liberal as you like with these themes. If your PC is not the argumentative type, perhaps they have some sort of internal conflict instead? Maybe they loose a finger instead of all their money? However you interpret the goal is fine, just as long as it is clear which one you’re after!

December (2011)
1. Do some cooking!
2. Pray to a God/Goddess
3. Obtain an injury of some sort
4. Have an argument

January (2012)

3. Stargaze
