Sasin frowned softly, and glanced at his companion. An odd one, to be sure. He rarely met a human who cared as little as this one about the gods. If he was human. He seemed to be, yet some things, small things, really, made him wonder. The man seemed amiable enough (Smart, friendly, not trying to kill him), but Sasin was becoming aware that something about Kiou made him a little, well, edgy. If he was a bit more articulate, Sasin would say it wasn't exactly who Kiou was, but what. Still, he would hide his wariness, at least until he could pinpoint a reason.
"Ionu is the main deity of Alvadas, yes. All this magic makes things" he paused here for a second, considering. "complicated. Or maybe simpler." He laughed dryly. "Here, at least, you expect that nothing is quite what it seems." He smirked softly. "Not even people. Especially not people. Siku preserve us, the simplest people can be mysteries wrapped in confusion shoved into a barrel of false images."
