Cherie sighed, she held up the beautiful bow and started describing how she was introduced to archery.
“My father and mother were really good at archery. My dad could hit a target right bang in the middle from 100ft. And my mother 80ft.”

Cherie traced her finger around the bow's engraved patterns.

“This bow is my father's, as well as other various weapons. When they died my Aunty took me and of course she was great at archery too. She was the one who taught me the basics, and she gave me my dad's bow. I'm learning to hunt now, I'm not so great but I always manage to get something.”

Cherie seemed sadder after revealing her story she reached up to pick up the single tear that dropped onto her cheek. She held her emotions in and when she came back to normal, she took the last bite of the apple. She held the core in her bare hand and waited to see what Txurstum had to say.

Txurstum listened to her as she explained how she was introduced to archery. He noticed a single tear run down her cheek, only to be swept away quickly. For some reason it made him feel uncomfortable, though he did not know why. Her story was not unlike his - in many ways. Other than he raised himself after his father past.
"It sounds like your whole family is good at archery. The bow i use for hunting is my fathers as well. He was an amazing hunter, I wish he could have given me some pointers."
He too, felt sadder, but he held all of it in, trying not to let it show. He had grown more used to the feeling of missing his family.
"4 years ago, when my father passed, I was the last left in my family. I have focused on hunting for food to feed myself since then, and it was learn fast or go hungry. "
When stating that he realized how lonely he really had been. He could not remember the last time he even talked to someone, and it felt good for him to get it off his chest.
"Actually, if you want, we could go hunting sometime. I never had somebody hunting with me, and we may have better luck together. I could also teach you what I know about archery."
Txurstum quickly looked away, for fear he should not have asked. But still, he waited Cherie's reply.

Cherie liked the idea of going hunting with someone. It might also be a good idea to get some more pointers.

"Yeah, sure, I'd like that."

Cherie turned her whole body to face the Inarta. She looked at the tracks left in the snow, seeing if any animal had wandered past here. No, didn't look like it. Cherie kept her finger on the carved out name, David. Her Aunt said that her father had carved that out by himself.

"Are you from here?"

She looked back up at Txurstum.

Sira accepted the katinu gratefully, glad that he had given it to her even though it was only because he didn't have a choice. It was sometimes hard to tell whether people were being nice, or just following orders. Even so, the warmth of the cloak did her well and she was glad for it. And then the other woman walked up and the pair quickly fell into conversation. The next thing she knew, they were walking away with Sira following behind after a moment.

The pair began to speak if archery and the loss of their family, both topics in which Sira was well versed. As an endal she of of course knew a bit about archery, and she had recently lost her mother. Sira had never known her father, some random kelvic who was just passing through and slept with her mother. She didn't really feel like talking about either of them, however, and by the time they stopped walking Sira had already grown bored. Maybe it was just the hormones, but Sira quickly lost interest in things of late.

When they stopped walking Sira decided it was time to go. Removing the katinu, she handed it back to Txurstum, giving him a nod of thanks. Sira turned to the other Inarta and offered a smile. "Thankyou for the katinu, it was very warm. I think though I'd be warmer in feathers, so I'm going to go. Maybe we'll meet again, some time, perhaps out on the hunt. I'd like to see just how good you both are with a bow anyway." Sira took a few steps back and then in a swirling cloud of sparkling lights and flying snow, she was suddenly replaced by a wind eagle. Sira turned away from the pair and hopped a few times to put some distance between them before spreading her wings and taking to the sky. It was much warmer beneath her feathers, and Sira was glad to be back in the sky. Let the Avora chat together, Sira was happy to just fly.

OOCSorry guys, I don't have the time to keep up with yall's posting speed so I'm gonna drop our. Perhaps we shall write together some other time.

Txurstum was happy Cherie agreed to go hunting with him. After the Kelvic gave him back his katinu he felt sorry for her. He felt as though he had left her out of the conversation. After she took a few steps back and turned back into an eagle he turned back to Cherie.
"That always creeps me out when she does that."
His eyes went to the ground for a minute before looking back to Cherie.
"Yes, I've lived in Wind Reach for my entire life, though I think this may be my last winter here 'till I head out. And you live here as well?"
Txurstum always tried to avoid telling people he wanted to leave Wind Reach, so he tried to quickly change topics.

Cherie was astonished,

“You want to leave Wind Reach, isn't that illegal?”

Cherie's mind was blank, she always wanted to leave Wind Reach, to see the wonderful world. But breaking the law, it wasn't an option.

“You shouldn't leave, if they catch you it will end very badly.”

She looked up, the Kelvic had turned into an Eagle.

“Bye!”

Cherie yelled out to her. She waved and then turned back to Txurtum, and looked him in the eyes.

“Don't leave. You will end up dying, that is if you get caught.”

She looked back down, amazed that she had done that. Cherie looked back up.

“So are you leaving?”

Txurstum looked at the ground, then back to Cherie. He had never told anybody of his plans - mainly for this reason.
"Yes, I've always wanted to leave Wind Reach. For years I heard tales of what everything outside of Wind Reach is like, and since then I have wanted to see myself, what it is like. I mean, Wind Reach is my home but..."
He pause trying to find the words to explain how he felt. The feeling was one he had for years now, but he had never found a way to explain them.
"I feel like I am trapped. This place, day by day its to repetitive. I mean, can you imagine what it would be like to see the whole world? Exploring at will and not having to follow anybody's rules. I mean, I have a feeling that something out there is calling me, but I'm not able to reach it."
He paused again. He tried to place his words on what his mind was thinking. It was not as easy as he thought it would be.
"And I don't know weather I'm going to leave or not. I have been waiting for the perfect opportunity. Maybe a group of merchants or travelers or something to go with. Just, can you keep this between us? I do not the wrong people to find out and have it end before I am even planned out. "

Cherie always wanted to travel out of Wind Reach but the law... it kept her here.

“Of course, and if you do have a plan count me in. I've always wanted to travel.”

Cherie looked around she felt like hunting some more so she asked the Inarta if he would like to join her.

“So, do you have your bow here? If you did we could hunt if you wanted to.”

She pointed towards the forest.

“There is always something there.”

Relief flooded through Txurstum as she agreed to not tell anybody. The second part about her wanting to join if he had a plan surprised him.
"When I have a plan I will count you in."
He smiled.
"Erm, no I do not have my bow with me, but if you want I could go to the commons and retrieve it."
He regretted not bringing it, but he did not expect to have to use it.
"I could use some fresh game right now too. "

"Yes, let's go."

Cherie started heading towards the denser part of the forest she stopped and waited for Txurstum to follow her.

"I really want to hunt, maybe we might catch something."

Cherie looked towards the Inarta and smiled sweetly.
